I think home is a down grate to this place.
Better yet I think the word large doesn't even compare how big it is.
Like you thought the White House was big? Try 6 of those, on top of each other. Of course it looked NOTHING like the White House.
The color was a sandy tan and had a cherry red roof. Large columns holing the palace up, with grand windows placed perfectly around ever corner. A small balcony was spotted at the top of the estate. Several flowers planted and cherry blossom trees lined the home. The smell of peaches and freshly cut grass filled the air. The front door was wide with big golden handles. A lions head door knocked on each. Mahogany wood I believe, it has a maroon color with a brown finished glossy look. And marble steps leading up to the door. It was so shiny in the sunlight, giving the impression of real diamonds embedded inside.
I took my first steps out of the car onto the rocky drive way. The drive way created a 'o' shape around a heart-shaped fountain. Very fitting because our last name is Valentine. Oh grandpa how cheesy you always were. Grey took my parents bags and my two brothers and I took our own. Four maids greeted us at the door. How formal. Each of us was assigned our own personal maid. Both my parents shared Yuki. Yuki had short chocolate brown hair with forehead bangs tied up in a small ponytail. She had matching brown eyes and a small frame. My oldest brother, Bruce, had Meg. Meg was the shortest out of the four, with long black hair in a simple braid and hazel eyes. She was kind of cubby, but it fit her well. Kurt had Diana, who was the tallest of them all, I swear she was a part time model. Curly brown hair and green eyes, simply beautiful. Lastly, I was given Mimi, or at least that's what I call her. She was a redhead, like natural redhead color, and amber eyes. She seemed pleasant.
Mimi insisted on carting my luggage to my desired room, I decided to only give her one. I had 3 large luggage bags and a big carry one. A girls got to live! Since I am the youngest and the only girl AND I called dibs first. I got to choose my room first. This place has 4 levels, so of course I'm going to choose the top floor, duh. My choice was the third largest (bed) room, with the balcony. I have a thing for balconies. Even though it was the third biggest room, it was still major in size for what I could see.
I stepped into my room and let me tell you I think I swelled...
The room had fine rose colored walls with amazing hardwood floors. French crown molding and beautifully detailed molding panels. Giant arched windows scattered amongst the walls. A small door, which I assumed leaning to my private bathroom, sat on the far right of the room. On the wall directly across from the door I was standing in say and king sized canopy bed with dozens of fluffy pillows just waiting to be flopped on. Two night stands stood either side of my king bed, both with matching pink lamps. A small fur rug was under the legs of my bed. To the left of the bed was two large glass doors, going out to the balcony. Across form where the bed was, was a large desk with a mirror behind it. It was carved simply with a white wood matching the nightstands, bed frame, and molding.
Utterly breathtaking, to say the least.
"Do you like it Miss?" Asked Mimi.
"Like it? More like love it!" I said happily.
"I'll leave you to unpack your things, Miss." She said about to close the door behind her, until I stopped her.
"Um Mimi, I can call you that right?"
She nodded.
"You don't have to call me Miss, ok." I said sheepishly, I feel a little weird being referred to as 'Miss'.
"What would you prefer?"
"Tess." I stated bluntly, after all it was my name.
"As you wish, Tess." After that she quietly closed the door.
Within seconds I jumped onto my kingly bed and flopped on it like a fish out of water. It was so soft, like a cloud! Enough Tess! Get a hold of yourself! You have to unpack.
Tomorrow is going to be a wonderful day, I can just feel it!
