I walked through the door and down the steps. I didn't dare go back in there for my things. All I cared about was getting home and crying.

"G-grey...?" I sobbed into the phone.

"Y-yes? Tess is this you? Where are you are you ok!?" He flustered.

"No, I don't mean to bother you but do you mind picking me up in Karuizawa, please?" I wiped my tears with my left hand.

"Sure thing I will be there soon ok I'll send a car for you and meet him half way, ok?" He sounded too nice and kind.

"Thank you." I sniffed and shut the phone.

~inside the pension~

"Do you think we were too harsh?" Hikaru looked out the window and watched me walk away with what dignity I had left.

"She shouldn't have done that to Haruhi's friend." Kauro added.

"Yeah but Haru-chan didn't seem so friendly when she slapped Arai..." Honey said sadly.

"No, that wasn't Haruhi's fault, Tess must have told her something. Haruhi never acts like that." Tamaki put a hand on his chin looking like he was thinking.

"But who's to say she actually lied..." Hikaru gazed out the window.

"What truth could she have told to make her freak out like that, on her own friend?" Tamaki blurted out.

"True." Kaoru nodded. "Wait what did Arai say? He said something... Called her something, and then Tess just went all dark. M....ma..." Kaoru snapped his fingers trying to figure out the name.

"Maria?" Haruhi was on the last two stairs. "Where's Tess?" Haruhi didn't make eye contact with any of them and just looked around the room.

"Yeah who's Maria?" Honey asked.

"I feel like I've heard that name before...." Tamaki thought.

"Wouldn't surprise me." Haruhi walked off the steps and over to a table. Not even looking at them. "So where she?"

"She left." Kyoya pushed up his glasses.

"Oh, I don't blame her." Haruhi sighed pulling out her phone and called me.

"You're still on her side?" Kaoru asked bluntly.

~back in the car~

"Hello." I asked the caller emotionless.

"Tess?" Haruhi's voice picked up. "You there?"

"Yeah I'm here." I played with the leather seat cushion in the car.

"Are you ok?" She asked worried.

"I'll be fine. Hey listen, I just want you to know I didn't me to be a burden on you. I didn't lie either, but you probably think I did so it doesn't matter anyways. I won't come back to the host club and I won't bother you guys... I'll see if I can switch rooms or something. Maybe even schools." I sighed looking up at Grey.

"Wait what! You are not leaving this school you hear me! Or the host club! They just need to listen to you and-"

"What will it matter they will think I'm lying anyways. Plus they hate me now and nothing is going to change that." I breathed.

"Lying? Wait they think you lied to me!? Why!?" She was pretty furious but still very confused.

"Yeah they think I told you lies, that's why you got mad at him. So the guys got made at me for 'tricking' you and told me to leave. I'm sorry I didn't mean to cause so much trouble. I shouldn't have told you the story." I sobbed.
