18th Birthday

The day I turned 18 my parents threw a huge party for me.
All of my friends were invited, including my best friend Sarah.

One of my sisters friends came that was five years older than me.. I have to admit, he was kinda cute but I wasn't into it.

"Well happy birthday, Jessica."
"Thanks." Jessica gave him a fake smile and looked away.
"Jessica, don't be rude!"
"Please excuse her Sam, she has no manners!" Anne apologized.
"Yes I do! Hello Sam, how are you?" She smiles, hugs him then turns to her sister and says, "Is that better?"
Anne rolls her eyes and says, "Let's go Sam, I need a drink.. I've been dealing with this little brat all day!"
"Well Jessica, it's been nice meeting you.. I hope we get to see each other again, soon." He smiles and gives her a wink.

"Who is that?!" Sarah came up to Jessica with a huge smile on her face.
"That was Sam, my sisters friend."
"Is it her boyfriend, he's really cute!"
"No, of course not! You think she'd be that moody if she was getting fucked by him?" She scoffed.
"Yeah I guess you're right. Well why don't you go for it? I saw him talking to you and he seems like he really likes you."
"No way!"
"Why Jess?"
"Hah! He's a grown up!" Jessica makes a face at her.
"Well you're legal now."
"I can't.. He's my sisters friend and that'd just be weird."
"Alright but if you don't then I will!"
"You will what? You're not legal till December!" Jessica laughs.
"Well that doesn't mean we can't just talk."
"Fine, then go talk to him."
"Fine, I WILL!"
"Fine!" Jessica crossed her arms and stood aside signaling for her to go.
"Just not right now.. Because I.. I have to go somewhere." She walks off.
"Pussy!" Jessica scoffs and rolls her eyes.

As the night went on Sam admired Jessica's beauty.
He finally worked up enough courage to ask her to dance.

"So uh.. What took you so long?" Jessica asks.
"For what?"
"To ask me to dance!" She smiled.
"Well I get nervous around pretty girls."
"Oh please!" She rolls her eyes.
"What? It's true! Jessica, I think you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen."
"I think you've had a few too many!" She giggles.
"I've always thought that about you, Jessica." He looks into her eyes.
She smiles and he leans slowly into her.
She turns her head and says, "Woah what are you doing there?!"
"I'm sorry.. I-I should't have done that."
"No, it.. It just took me by surprise, that's all."
"Well again I apologize, that was wrong of me."
"It's fine, don't worry about it."
"I better go... Happy birthday, Jessica." He kisses her cheek and leaves.

Jessica's standing there with a smile on her face.
Sarah walks up and says, "Did he just kiss you?"
"Yeah." She giggled.
