Oliver's footsteps echoed off the concrete as he ran upstairs. The door bounced off the wall with the force he used to push it open. "You."
Jennifer watched him, mild curiosity in her eyes as she took him in. He had to resist the urge to shake some sense into her.
"What did you do?" He growled his voice low, as he fought to keep his voice level. When she shrugged he took another step forward his fist tightly, her eyes narrowed. "Who is she?"
"That wasn't what I asked." Oliver said through gritted teeth and Rufus moved beside Oliver feeling the tension in the room.
"Who is Clara, Oliver?"
"Clara is the girl I've been seeing." Oliver bit back what he really wanted to say which was that she was everything Jennifer was not.
Jennifer raised an eyebrow in mocking annoyance, "Well then I didn't say anything that wasn't true."
"Damn it, Jennifer." His hands running through his hair, "What the hell did you say to her?"
"Calm down, lover boy." She folded her arms in front of her.
"I don't have time for your crap."
With a shrug she smiled, "You're probably not going to get her back anyways."
"Jennifer. What. Did. You. Say?" He took a step back afraid of what he might do to her.
"I told her we were busy. I can't be responsible for her reaction."
Oliver spun around his hands moving down his face adding everything up. Jennifer was still in his shirt. Jennifer was still at his home. Jennifer was answering the door. Jennifer was Jennifer and Clara knew who she was.
"I know that what you went through was hard but that gives you no right to screw everyone else's lives up. I want you out."
He moved ignoring her sounds of protests as he dialed Clara's number over and over again trying to get her to answer.
