What kind of coffee do you like?

Vanessa's POV

I rang the bell. I was at Adam's house.

Adam opened the door.

"Hey Melissa!" Emily said excitedly.

"Hey Em! C'mon fast. You need to see my Barbie collection." Melissa said.

With that they both ran inside the house.

"Come inside, Vanessa." Adam said.

"Sure." I said as I walked into the house. It was a small but nice and cozy house.

"I'll show you around the house. Actually there is not much to show around here. It's small house. Anyways this is my living room." He said.

Then he showed me his kitchen. And then Melissa's bedroom, where the girls were playing. And then he showed me his bedroom.

"So that was my house. Not as big as you expected, I know." He said.

"But it is a beautiful house." I remarked.

As I was looking around the room, I noticed a framed photo on his desk. It was of Adam and another woman who looked a lot like Melissa.

"Who's that?" I asked as I took the photo from the desk and pointed at the woman.

"Oh that's Lucy. Melissa's mom." He said, with a small smile.

"Oh so where is she now?" I asked.

"She's dead. She died while giving birth to Mel. I love her for that." Adam said.

"Oh I'm so sorry. Wanna talk about it?" I said.

"Not much to talk about. Although, I must say she was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. So what about Zayn? " He asked.

"How do you know about Zayn?" I asked.

"C'mon. Its Zayn Malik. who doesn't know him? I see my daughter pointing at the tv excitedly every time she sees his face. What do you expect?" He said.

"Ok. With me and Zayn...it just wasn't working out. So we seperated." I said.

"So what kind of coffee do you like?" He asked me, changing the subject.

"I like cappuccino."

--------A couple of hours later-----------

"I think it's time to go." I said as I started walking out of the bedroom.

"Oh okay. I'll call the girls." He said.

A couple of minutes later Melissa and Emily came downstairs .

"Bye Emily, thanks for coming." Melissa said, hugging her friend.

"Yeah. And thanks for showing me your Barbie collection. I especially liked the one with the yellow dress." Emily said.

"Okay so bye, Adam. " I said.

"Bye, have a nice day." He said. "I had a great time with you today."

"Same here. I think I should get going now."

As I stepped out of the door, I turned back and said, "What kind of coffee do you like?"
