Uninvited guests

Vanessa's POV

"Zayn?" I said, surprised. What is he doing here?

"I called him here." Niall said with the guilty look still on his face.

"Why?" I said, as tears threatened to spill from my eyes. All the memories came flashing back to me. The shouting. The hitting.

"Because I have full rights to know about my children!" Zayn said. Children? He knows about Ethan. After I get out of this hospital, I'm gonna kill Niall.

"No you don't! You left us when we needed you! I will not allow you to see them!" I screamed at Zayn.

"Mommy, who is this?" Emily asked, frightened by all the screaming. Oh shit. I forgot she was standing right there. The look on her face is the same as 2 years ago when Zayn and I used to fight.

"She doesn't remember me? You bitch! You made her forget her own dad!" He said pointing at me.

"No! You aren't my dad!" Emily said pointing at Zayn.

"But Emi, try to rememb-" Zayn started.

"Megan, please take Emily outside. And your intelligent husband too." I said, sarcastically.

"And don't call me Emi only my mommy and daddy can call me that." Emily said emphasising on the word 'my'.

As soon as Megan, Dumb-Ass Niall and Emily got out of the room, a doctor walked in.

"Hey Ms. Pettyfer. Would you like to lay down on the bed or do you want to sit on the wheelchair itself?" The doctor asked, smiling.

"I would like to go on the couch. Thanks." I said.

"So I will send a nurse. She will help you get to the couch." The doctor said.

"It's okay. I will help her get to the couch. And which room is Ethan in?" Zayn said. Shit. He knows Ethan's name too.

"But sir no one is allowed to go to that room."

"But I'm his father. Please." Zayn said with pleading eyes.

"Ok fine. He is in room number 306." The doctor said giving up. Then moments later she walked out of the room.

"Now let's get you to the couch." Zayn said.

"No thanks." I said faking a smile.

I tried to get up from the wheelchair but failed miserably. I guess this is what happens when you break both of your legs.

"See. You can't do it." Zayn said smirking. "Let me do it."

"No. If your planning to meet Ethan, then you can't." I said sternly.

"But who are you to tell me that?"

"His mom."

"Then even I'm his dad. I have full rights to see my children. And you can't do anything about it! Or else...."

"Or else what will you do, huh?

"I'll take legal action against you."

"Then even I can say that you abused me." I said sternly.

"Any proof?" He said, smirking evilly.

No. I didn't have a any proof.

"Fine you can see Ethan but I'm gonna come with you." I said, giving up.

5 minutes later in Ethan's room

.Zayn's POV

I saw him there. My son. I can't believe I missed 2 years of his life. I know I don't deserve to be in my children's life after all I've done. But still.

As I stood next to Ethan's bed, the door opened and a man walked in.

"Babe, you okay?" He said to Vanessa and then pecked her on the lips.

Tom's POV

"Babe, you okay?" I said to Vanessa and then gave her a quick peck on the lips.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She said. She had a couple of bandages on her body.

"And how's Ethan?" I asked looking at the fragile body of Ethan.

"The doctors said he has very little chance of getting saved." She said softly as a couple of tears trickled down her cheek.

"Don't cry. He'll be fine." That's when I noticed him standing there. That idiot.

"Oh so your finally here." I said.

"Yeah. Because I felt the need to meet my kids." He said.

Then the door opened and Alex came in.

"Vanessa." He said as he gave Vanessa a big hug.

"How is everything?" He asked.

"I'm fine. But Ethan's not."

Alex's POV

Then I saw that Zayn douchebag standing there. How did he get here?

I couldn't contain the anger anymore. I grabbed him by the collar.

"You dickhead what are you doing here?!?!" I shouted.

"I just cam to see Eth..." He started.

"No! Honestly you don't have any rights to meet them!" I said as I punched him in the face.

Vanessa and Tom tried to move me away and they succeded before I could break any of Zayn's bones.

Then the door opened. Everyone looked in that direction. Oh no. This was the person I least expected here.
