Only if she knew......

Vanessa's POV

Flashback

I walked into the classroom shyly and sat next to a boy.

"Hello, my name is Zayn." He said.

"Hello I am Vanessa." 4 year old me answered.

1 year later

"Happy Friendship day!" 5 year old Zayn yelled and hugged me.

"Same to you."I said hugging him back.

"Let's tie our friendship bracelets."

End of flashback

"Excuse me. Are you signing the papers?" Zayn said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I will sign it but only after you give your blood to Emily." I said.

"Can I trust you?" He asked.

"Yes." I said.

30 minutes later the whole process was over.

"Can I meet Emily?" I asked.

"Not now. We are putting the bandages and stuff. Maybe after 15-20 minutes." She said.

"Okay." I said.

I lifted the sleeve of my shirt till my elbow and looked at the friendship bracelets. Even though Zayn is abusive I really love him.

Zayn came out of the lab and said,"So now it's Time that you fulfilled your promise."

"Babe please don't leave me. I won't be able to live without you. I love you." I said tearing up.

"Don't call me babe. And you've gotta do it. You promised." He said

After a long silence I decided I would do it. Why am I crying for a person who never loved me?

"Finally." Zayn said with a sigh. "Now I don't have to walk around calling you my wife."

"Mr. and Mrs. Malik, you can meet your daughter now." The doctor said before I could reply to Zayn.

"Not Mrs. Malik. It's Ms. Pettyfer." Zayn said looking at me with a smirk.

"But you guys are married right?" She asked, slightly confused.

"None of your business." Zayn said rudely.

With that the doctor left.

"Zayn please meet your daughter for one last time please." I said.

"I don't wanna meet her. And yeah. Goodbye. Forever. To you and your daughter." He said.

"Zayn I don't have to be scared of you anymore since you are not my husband. So I am going to file a report against you." I said.

"Oh so you were thinking about that. So let me tell you. If you file a report against me, then Emily is going to hate you forever for sending her dad to jail. So your choice. Goodbye again." Zayn said giving me a big smirk. He then left.

"Ms. Who-so-ever. Your daughter is calling you." The doctor said a minute later.

I rushed towards her hospital room. As I was about to hug her the nurse told me not to hug her because she might get hurt.

"Hey baby." I said, giving her a small smile. "How are you feeling now."

"I am feeling better mommy. Where is daddy?" She asked.

"He had some work so he had to rush of. He also said sorry to you." I lied.

"Ok mommy." She replied smiling.
