Chapter 15

I woke up and got ready for the day. We didn't have anything planned, so I decided to go with the cute, but casual. This was my usual look. When I got done getting ready, I went downstairs to eat the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit that my mom had prepared for us. It was so good, I love it when Mom makes home cooked meals. Then I decided to text a few people who might be willing to do something today. Those people consisted of Ethan, Grayson, and Cameron. Those were the three who I thought were the most adventurous of the bunch. I texted them separately, so their opinions wouldn't change because they might of thought we were all supposed to go together. You know, guys think how guys wanna think, I guess. A few minutes later Cameron texted back that said: Sure! I think that I'm up for an adventure today! I will get ready and be at your house in fifteen. Great. An adventure. Those usually involve the outdoors. I might as well go change into something more nature appropriate, if you know what I mean. I responded with a classic, Ok! See you then! trying not to sound too prepy. I didn't want Cameron to think I was over excited to see him or anything. When I heard a knock on the door, I immediately knew that it was Cam, so I opened it. I was happy to see that he was in his nature appropriate outfit too. Because if I was the only one and when he said adventure he meant movie, that would have been really embarrassing. I had known Cam for a while know, probably since, oh I don't know, my sister started dating him! No guys, I know what you are thinking and I'm not talking about Emmaleigh, I'm talking about Autumn. Emmaleigh and Eth are still happily dating and yes of course I'm jealous. Ever since she had started to date Ethan, I had wanted to date Grayson, secretly. Even Em doesn't know. We told each other everything. We had to according to the 'Sister Contract' that we made when we were six and we could never break it since it was signed by the 'Twinsies'. Twinsies are what we called each other for as long as I can remember. I know, everyone calls themselves twinsies nowadays, but what can you say? We were six, remember? We don't call each other twinsies anymore except for sometimes when we just say it for a joke. I am going to tell her that I like Grayson, but not yet. She had just started dating Ethan a few months ago and if I told her I liked him now, she would just think I was saying that because she was dating his twin. And who does that? Twins dating twins? That's completely ridiculous! So now you can see why I am keeping this secret from her, right? And if I told her I was keeping it from her, it would totally break our relationship, twin, sister, and friend. Anyway, Cam and I decided to go for a hike somewhere in the woods. I couldn't drive yet, so Cameron had to drive. And to be honest, I was on my phone the whole way down here 'prepping for nature' as you may call it. Oh, who am I kidding? I was texting. I wasn't exactly the sporty type, that was the exact opposite of me, I was more of the girly-girl type. You know the kind who do cheer leading and gymnastics. I absolutely hated bugs and if I get any ticks, I am forcing Cam to come over to my house and pick them out of me and he might have to put me to sleep because I would probably be screaming half to death. I know, right? But for real though. After our hike was over, Cam and I grabbed a bite to eat at Alice Ann's. Alice Ann's is a place where you can get a variety of foods. Anywhere from just a light snack, to a five course meal. I love it there. Emmaleigh and I have been coming here with our family and friends since, oh probably our whole lives. Cam and I just got a snack though because I wasn't really that hungry and apparently, he wasn't either. We got back in the car and drove to my place, but he stayed to hang out with Autumn. I loved that he was dating my sister because he is so nice and sweet and I can trust him not to hurt her. I know that the older sisters are supposed to be the ones to look out for the younger sisters, but I can't help it, I love her too much. Well I'm tired so I'm going to go to bed now, night!
