Chapter 40

Stacy (Mom's) POV

Sadly, today is the day that we have to leave hot and sunny California. Luckily, I got us all plane tickets, so the ride is faster than it would be if we were driving. It is still a surprise to the kids, though. I am not going to tell them, they will just have to figure it out when they get there. I was looking all over the beach house to make sure that we have not left anything around. We will get breakfast at the airport because we have to be there an hour early and our flight isn't until 7:00 am, so we have to get there at 6:00. It is 5:00, so I will have to get the kids up about right now. After I got the kids up, I got ready. Then, I packed up the car. The kids packed up their bags last night, so I would only have to pack them into the car this morning. 

Autumn's POV

Uggh. My mom always gets me us so early! I am not a fan of getting up early. (If you couldn't already tell) I was just going to wear comfy clothes for the ride home, not my pajamas, just maybe some yoga pants and a sweatshirt. After I was ready, I got into the car, and of course, I was the last one in the car. I am always the last one to get ready, beauty takes time. I know, I know, I'm beautiful already and I don't need makeup. Hey, I'm not wearing any, but that's just because I am too lazy at 5 am. I mean, who isn't this lazy at 5 am? When the car stops, we are at the airport? "Mom, what are we doing here?" I ask confused. "What do most people do at the airport?" She asks sarcastically. "Ride an airplane, duh!" She says answering her own question. "Ok." I said. When we got on the plane, I was excited that we didn't have to ride in the car for like I have no clue how many hours. I was also excited that we would be home faster than we would be if we were driving home.

Cameron's POV

I sat by Autumn on the plane. "What are you going to do when we get home?" I asked her. "Um, I have no clue. Probably unpack first, after that? No idea." She said. She is so attractive, with her big brown eyes. They weren't too brown, just brown enough to be classified as 'brown' if you know what I mean. Or in other words, light brown. She fell asleep with her head on my shoulder and I smiled. She is adorable when she sleeps. I closed my eyes and drifted off with my head on her's.

Emmaleigh's POV

When we got home, I started to unpack right away. After I unpacked, I decide to be nice and help Liv unpack her stuff. Let's just face it, she is very slow at everything she does. I think that being slow at everything is an awesome quality to have, however. On the other hand, I am the type of person who is always buzzing around everywhere. We are pretty much polar opposites, most twins are. People think that we are practically the same person. Like, when Alivia gets in trouble, my mom punishes us both. I mean, like what? We are not the same person, at all. 

Alivia's POV

Emmaleigh came into my room. "Hey." I said. "Hi." She called. "What's up?" I asked. "Oh, I just came in here to see if you needed any help." "Ya, thanks! That will be great!" I said happily. This would have taken me forever if I would have to put away all of my clothes all by myself. "Sure, no problem." She said with a smile. I appreciate having her for a sister because she always helps me with things. I'm not going to lie, but I am slow at practically everything that I do. I am glad that I am lucky enough to have her for a sister. 

Stacy (Mom's) POV

When we got home, I unpacked the car. I gave the bags to who they belonged to and I started to unpack my own bags. I am glad to be home and I am glad that the vacation made our family closer together. Oh my gosh! I just remembered that I forgot to give the girls their phones back when we got to California. Oh well, that made them have a better vacation anyway. I am glad that I am lucky enough to have a family like them. I mean, what would I ever do without them? I have absolutely no clue what I would do without them. I thought about that and smiled. I am lucky.
