Stacy (Mom's) POV
Today is the last day that we will be spending here, in Idaho. We will be leaving tomorrow morning to go to hot and sunny California. Another 14 hour and 20 minute car ride. Uggh. We weren't going to stay in a hotel this time because we can manage to get there in a day if we keep our stops to a minimum. I am excited to go to California because my summer tan has faded this winter and I am hoping to get some of it back. I have no idea what the girls' reaction to changing gears and going to California will be, but I'm sure that they will be priceless, so I will record them. I had to pack the girls extra clothes because they don't know that we are going to California, so they didn't pack for California weather. California is a lot warmer than Idaho, well at least in my opinion.
Penny's POV
Today is Autumn, Alivia, and Emmaleigh's last day here in Idaho. I am sad, but I am sure that we will get to see them again sometime soon. In the meantime, I will be stuck here with a bunch muddy boys. Although, I will still have Julia, so that's good I guess. I went into my room and got on an outfit for the day. When I was done, I came downstairs to help Mom with breakfast. On the weekends, I always help Mom make breakfast. I guess that you could say that it is kind of our weekend tradition and I love doing it.
Autumn's POV
I woke up and looked at my phone 7:30! Geez it's really early! And this time it is actually early, not like 1:30 in the afternoon or whatever time it was a few days ago. I was just about to go back to bed when I heard someone call from downstairs, "Girls, it is time to get up and come downstairs for breakfast!" Uggh. I hate getting up so early on the weekends, but hey, at least we aren't in school right now. As I trudged down the stairs for breakfast, I heard someone running down the stairs behind me. I turned around to see who it was and it was the twins (Joshua and Justin). You will never guess what they did to me this time: poured a giant bucket of green, oozy, slime. "Hey!" I yelled. "Why are you guys always out to get me?!" I asked them wondering why they couldn't get Liv or Em. "Because," Justin began, "We can't get the twins (Liv and Em) because us twins have got to stick together; and we can't get Penny or Julia because they would get mad at us and tell our mom. Then, we would get in trouble; we don't get in trouble for doing this to you because our mom thinks that it is funny." He explained. "Fine. Whatever." I said angrily and stomped the rest of the way down the stairs.
Elizabeth (Aunt's) POV
Autumn came into the kitchen covered in slime. "What did they do this time?" I asked trying not to sound mad about this at all; because surprisingly, I actually wasn't at all. "They ran behind me down the stairs and when I looked behind me to see who it was, they poured this gooey slime at me." Autumn explained to me and I couldn't help but laugh. "Why do you always think that it is funny when the twins (Joshua and Justin) do things like this to me?" She questioned me and I honestly had no idea why, but I obviously had to come up with an answer. "Because It's funny when you get all worked up about it." I told her and honestly, that is probably the actual reason why. "Ok?" She asked sounding confused. I told her to go upstairs and get cleaned up in the shower before she came back down to eat. "Where do they get that slime anyway?" My sister, Stacy, asked. "Who know." I told her while laughing. When Autumn came back into the kitchen, we all started to eat.
Emmaleigh's POV
You have to admit that covering Autumn in slime is a pretty funny prank. However, it is also a very immature prank and I would never do it myself. Although, if the boys want to do it and face the consequences, then all power to them. I know that they would never do that to us because when we were really little, we made a pact, 'twins for life'. At one point we were all going to get that saying tattooed in a puzzle piece, all of the puzzle pieces would connect, so it would only be for us four. I may still be willing to get that tattooed on, but who knows? Only time will tell.
Author's Note:
There is only 5 more chapters left in this book, counting this one. I hope you have enjoyed reading this story as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Also, I hope that you will keep reading my other stories when they are published. I will only be able to write one story at a time because writing multiple would be confusing. Thanks for reading! Stay awesome!
