Harry's P.O.V.

I've decided that i wanted to spend some time with Mary. It's been two weeks since i saw and talked to her. I wonder what she's up to.

I thought that maybe she would call, text, or come see me, but she hasn't.

I call her.

"Hello?" She asks.

She sounds busy, there is clanking, and pounding in the background.

"Hey, babe. What's up?"

"Working on the house."

"Oh, bad time?"

"Yeah."

I was hoping it wasn't.

"Do you want me to come over and help?"

"No. Don't. I've got everything under control."

Then i hear a loud bang.

"Shit." She mumbles.

"I'm coming over." I say.

"No, Harry.."

Then, i hang up.

I get my coat and drive to what use to be Mary's flat.

Once i get there, i see two more people working with her. They're moving around ruble and some dude is sawing.

I park my car across the street and walk over towards Mary.

"Hey babe." I wrap my arms around her.

"Harry." She turns around to face me. "I told you not to come. What were you thinking?"

"I wanted to help my girlfriend. Sorry." I stick my hands in my pocket.

"Well, you picked the wrong time to come."

"What do you mean?"

The two people that are helping Mary comes toward us.

"Hello. I'm Jane and this is Jacob. We're Mary's parents." The woman says.

"Hi, i'm Harry." I stcik my hand out to shake their hands but they're not responding so i let my hand fall.

It's been an awkward silence for awhile until Mary starts talking.

"Harry is my boyfriend." She states.

Mary's P.O.V.

"Harry is my boyfriend." I state.

"Really?" My mom says.

"Yes. We're very happy together." Harry cuts in.

 I elbow him and give him a glare.

"Well, it was very nice to meet you, Harry. Now let's get back to work." My dad says.

"Maybe you shouldn't be here." I whisper to Harry.

"Right. You don't want your boyfriend here to embarass you. I get it." Then he turns around walks toward his car.

"Wait. Harry. That's not what i meant!"

I chase after him. But he's gone now.

Byt the time we're almost finished, one of my guy friends come to check in on us to see how i'm doing.

"Hey Jake!" I smile at him and give him a huge hug.

"Hey Mary!" He does the same.

"What are you doing here?"

"Just to see how you're holding up. Pretty good so far."

"Pretty good. My house is almost finished!"

"I can see that."

"But, i don't have enough money to keep the place. I'm gonna need to find a roommate." I put my hair in a messy bun.

"Well, you're in luck."

"What do you mean?"

"I need a new roommate too. But i'll be happy enough to let my place go and move in with my bestie."

"Me?"

"Yes you." He smiles at me.

"Cool!Okay, well i'll tell my mom and dad."

"Okay i'll go pack my things and meet you tomorrow."

"Okay, sounds like a plan."
