Tonight has been so perfect. Even as Harry walks me back to the tent now, my hand in his, I couldn't have thought of a more perfect first date. I'm just hoping it'll end like those movie dates with an amazing kiss that'll confirm we are now together.
"Let's do something different tomorrow." I casually state.
Harry chuckles at me, "Like what?"
"I don't know, let's take part in some of the activities. There's an evening hike to the peak." I suggest.
"Bella, I told you. I don't take part in activities. They're pointless and try to make me do something I don't even enjoy."
"Well maybe it'll be fun. Come on.... Please? For me?" I bat my eyelashes at him with an innocent smile.
"Okay okay stop. You're killing me with cuteness." He looks away and I blush slightly.
"But you better hope this won't ruin my bad boy reputation here, otherwise you'll face the consequences." He says seriously before breaking into a smirk.
Harry and I continue to walk in silence until we arrive back at the tent where my parents along with the Braisons are talking and laughing with Josh no where in sight. Maybe he went to the party tonight.
Harry pulls me behind one of the tents, crouching down before the parents notice us.
"Thank you, for tonight. I had a good time." I whisper, looking into Harry's eyes.
He smiles at my words, "Me too. So are we cool now? You know, with the whole Josh thing."
"Yeah, we're cool." I return a sweet smile before Harry slowly starts to lean closer, his eyes slowly shutting. I was hoping this would happen.
As our lips are about to make contact a familiar voice calls out next to us.
"Oh look, Izzy is back from her date." Josh walks from out of the woods and straight past us, grabbing the parents attention in our direction.
Harry's eyes widen as he pulls me to stand up and walk towards the parents.
My dad does not look impressed at all but my mom gives his arm a gentle squeeze. He looks down at his watch then back up at us.
"Well it looks like you made it back just in time." My dad manages to say with a fake smile.
"Yes sir." Harry replies politely.
"And how was your evening?" Mom asks, intervening before dad says anything else.
Harry decides to reply for the both of us, "It was lovely thanks. I'm sure Isabella can agree it was a fun night." He looks down at me with a genuine smile that I can't help but return and nod my head in agreement.
"What kind of fun is something I'm sure Mr.Thomas would love to know." Josh mumbles, sitting on the camping chair behind my parents.
Harry grits his teeth before putting on a smile. He's clearly just as frustrated with Josh as I am right now.
"I better get back." Harry quickly waves at the parents and myself before stepping back and walking away. I don't blame him. If I was as strong as he was I would've probably tackled Josh to the ground by now.
I watch Harry walk away and slowly disappear into the woods behind the campsite before I turn to face the parents.
"I'm going to bed, goodnight." I manage to spit out as politely as humanly possible.
I glare at Josh before spinning on my heels and walking quickly back to my tent. Opening it up, I step inside and collapse onto my stretcher bed before letting out a deep sigh.
