Chapter 35: Our Night In Town

"Everybody ready to go?" Harry calls out as our group walks towards the parking lot.

A round of "yeah's" are heard as we all make our way to the separate cars. Zayn and Jody are in one car, Megan and Eddy are coming with Harry and I and lastly Josh and Jade are in Josh's  car. I didn't really want him to come with but since he is with Jade I have no choice.

I'm actually really excited about going out tonight. We had to try convince my parents the whole day today but since Josh is coming they finally decided to say yes. I couldn't have been happier.

It'll be a change of scenery from the usual lake house parties but definitely a night of fun. We deserve it since it's one of our last nights together.

I climb into the passenger seat as Harry gets behind the wheel and Megan and Eddy hop into the back seats.

We exit the parking lot as Harry blasts the radio for all of us to sing along to some bands song which Harry says he loves.

I giggle as Harry dramatically shakes his head to the beat and sings the song. All our windows are open as the wind rushes in and blows my hair all over the place.

Tying my hair back as the song ends I feel Harry place his hand on my thigh as he steers with his other hand. Tingles run up my leg and butterflies encircle my core.

The music has become softer to some indie song playing on the radio as we all relax for the last few minutes of our drive.

I look over to Harry discretely as he stares out onto the road, the wind blowing through his unruly hair, the lights of the town shining down onto his face.

He's so perfect. He's more than I could ever ask for. How did I gets so lucky?

A few minutes later we arrive as Harry parks down an alley near the nightclub at the edge of the town.

I'm about to climb out the car when Harry grabs my hand and stops me, "No, hold on."

He jumps out the drivers side, runs around to my door and opens it up for me before reaching out his hand to help me out.

"What a gentlemen." I dramatically remark.

"Why thank you." He replies just as dramatically.

Within a few minutes we are standing in a line outside the booming club waiting to be allowed in. Thankfully we are early and are near the front so should be let in with the first batch of people.

Harry's hand hasn't left mine once and he is swaying slightly on his feet clearly excited.

I squeeze his hand and he looks down at me with a smile, his eyes a reflection of the towns lights around us.

Megan and Eddy are cuddling behind us in the line and there is no sign of the others. I'm sure they'll show up pretty soon though and join us.

Finally the security opens up the doors and after showing our ID's we are let inside to a room full of dancing people, lights flashing and the base of the speakers pounding through us.

Eddy and Megan find us a corner booth of sofas where we can all sit and get something to drink.

Harry talks closely into my ear so I can hear him over the music.

"Do you want a drink?" He asks.

I nod, "But no alcohol please." I respond.

He smiles and nods before leaving our group to head towards the bar.

Megan, Eddy and I take a seat on the white, leather sofas watching the sea of people in front of us dancing along to the music.

A few familiar faces seem to become visible in the crowd as Jade, Jody,Zayn and Josh appear.
