Okay so apparently...People are wondering why this seems like a normal high school love story. That's because the main character Kim is a boy-crazed teenage girl. But as I get further in the story this changes. She becomes more confident and focused. She learns to like herself before wanting a boy to like her. I'm sure once I upload more of the story it will come into play. If there is anything that confuses you plz post it in the comments...I tend to live in my own world sometimes ;)  Comment, Vote, Something!!!

I waited outside for Andrew. He was with some friends so I was scared he’d completely ignore me. Instead he casually walked over and grabbed my hand. I felt so out of place. Millions of thoughts raced through my head. Ideas like what will he say or what is he thinking? I had never done this before. We walked all the way to his car and he took my bags, threw them in the backseat, and said his goodbyes to his friends. I hopped in and we drove off.

“Are you hungry?” He asked placing his arm behind my neck.

“Yeah,” I responded sheepishly.

“Great! I know this place on the corner of Elm and Broadway”

“Cool”

We pulled up to this Rock & Roll themed restaurant. Three of the lights were out, so the sign said: King s Di e . I giggled at the sight. “Is the food safe?” I joked as I got out the car.

“Hey! This is my diner. She’s got character.”

As we walked in the smell of milkshakes filled the air. “Andrew!” The attendant greeted winking at Andrew deviously, “Who’s this?”

“Paul this is Kim, Kim Paul”

“I’ll sit in my usual spot,” Andrew stated as if “King” himself. Grabbing my hand, He led me to his spot. It literally had his name carved on the side of the table!

The booth was really big and private. The white and red plastic covered seat was a bit noisy but, tolerable. The booth faced a window with a stunning view. The one down side was the walls of were too high to see who all was there. Even the waiter had to walk around to get to us.

“Wow, this is nice,” I added sitting down.

“It’s like my own island,” Andrew claimed, ‘It’s where I can just take a break.”

The waiter brought a steaming plate of bread rolls and butter. It tasted like a soft, buttery, cloud. When it came time to order I got the same as Andrew. The menu was a bit too confusing for my taste. I was petrified at what in the world a Paranormal Elvis could have been. Andrew saw my look of confusion clear on my face and ordered for me.  To my surprise the food was amazing! The savory potatoes, complimented by the zesty steak, were just the right cross between crispy and soft. The steak cut like the butter . Not to mention the vinaigrette on the spinach salad was sweet yet tangy enough to perfectly accent the beautifully crisp leafs of spinach. I thought this date couldn’t get any better. Andrew was about to meet his replacement. Who needs boys with food like this? Until I realized, I must have really been distracted. Andrew’s arm had found its way around my waist! Quickly, I eat 3 of the complimentary peppermints.

Feeling courageous I seized his other hand and he retreated. Shocked, I looked into his eyes. Things seemed to slow down. His retreating hand softly brushed from my temple down to my cheek. As if there was a change in gravity my lips slowly moved closer until at last I met his! I pulled back. He kissed me back! Then as if we were on one mind we both leaned in for another kiss. This one lasted for what seemed like forever. He tilted his head and maneuvered his hands on my waist and back. Not knowing where to put my hands, I simply placed them at my sides like a pair of dead fish. When the waiter dropped off the bill, I reached for my purse still in Andrew’s hold

“I got it,” He stopped me before I could pay. He pulled out his wallet from his back pocket. I noticed oddly enough there was a picture of me in it! Leaving the money on the table, we left for his car. He opened the door for me like a kind gentlemen.

When we arrived at my house, he walked me to the door. “Good night,” I waved akwardly.

“Night” He called back over his shoulder.
