“Where is he,” I whispered to myself. I finally decided to confront Andrew. I hated to say it but Tina was right! She said she’d only talk to me again if I promised to talk to Andrew. I felt so bad when we were fighting. She was my best friend and no matter what happened it’d stay that way.
When Andrew finally came out of the school, Cindy was with him! I gathered all my nerve and walked up. Suddenly, Andrew leaned in toward Cindy. I paused in my steps. My heart raced. Cindy grabbed his shirt and kissed him. I couldn’t believe it!
As I ran home, it began to rain. It didn’t seem to matter. Nothing did! I felt like the air had been knocked out of me. When I finally got home, I called Tina and asked her to come over. While I waited, I turned on some music and began to sulk. Tina walked in on me crying on my bed. “Kim, what happened?” she asked concerned.
“When I finally saw Andrew…….,”I cried, “He…was….with Cindy”
“Did she hurt you?”
“She kissed him!”
“I knew there must have been something going on.”
“Then he kissed her back!”
“What did you say?”
“I didn’t” At that point I just began to cry hysterically.
Tina then began to deviously smirk.
“Does this plan include costumes, food, sneaking, or ninjas?” I responded through my tears slightly perking up.
“You’ll see!”
