The security wasn’t what I would have expected. We approached this room. It had plain grey walls, lined with lockers, and a few dressing rooms. There was a few jumpsuits on the shelves. It was actually very neat! I wasn’t sure why we had come here, when Jack and Jasper will be on our trails any minute now. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Andrew eyeing me for a few brief moments. I knew he wouldn't try any funny business but after that run in with Jack I just feel so nervous around him. Not that I didn’t before…but this is different. It’s like the butterflies I once had have transformed to angry hornets!

“Here,” Andrew said snapping out of my tangent.

“Wh-What,” I stuttered shaking my head.

“Here, It should be your size…and uh…put your hair up so it fits in this hat…”

“Uh…O-o-okay,” I continued to stutter taking the clothes and hat. I actually had to ask Andrew to face a corner (eyes- closed), while I used the dressing room to put the jumpsuit over my clothes. I know it sounds weird but, I just felt so suspicious…

“Done,” I quietly announced.

I turned to Andrew to find him changed and ready to go.  We tried our best to blend in and look natural. A mere few minutes later and I was standing look-out as Andrew hot-wired a van. My knees felt weak. The coast was clear… but for how long? This thought frightened me. I had never been look out before.  At least, not for something that was a matter of  life of death!  I felt a tap on my shoulder. Immediately, I opened my mouth to scream but my mouth was covered by a hand. “Are you crazy? You’ll get us caught,” Andrew whisper screamed.

I let out a deep breath and relaxed slightly. Stealthily we got in the van and took off. The whole trip was pretty quiet. I avoided Andrew's occasional looks during stop lights. He tried to break the awkward silences with casual talk. I shot him down every time. The fact was no matter how much you tried to avoid the elephant in the room...van... It was still there.

Time passed. Seconds turned to minutes. Minutes turned to hours. Hours turned to a full day. Finally, the van turned left to a nearby Denny's.

“Would you like some coffee,” Andrew asked in a tone that sounded frustrated.

“No…,” I answered quietly turning my attention to the window.

“Whatever,” He snapped.

“What’s that suppose to mean?”

“It’s been a whole day and you haven’t even offered up a single explanation as to why you were playing tonsil hockey with that guy!”

I looked at him for a bit, deciding how to tell him the events that I had tried so hard to push out of my memory. I scanned the Diner. It was too busy. I couldn’t lose it in here. I needed to...I didn't know. I wasn't trained for this stuff like him. I didn't know how to handle this. At last, I opted to answer with silence.

Andrew sipped some of his coffee, still looking ticked off. He stared at me for a bit waiting for an answer we both knew I wasn’t gonna supply.  “I can’t believe you..,” He muttered crossly.

I simply aimed my attention back to the window. Who was Andrew to judge me? Honestly, Who made him king of anything? He was just pouring on a thick layer of accusations. I can’t believe I even let myself fall for him… he was so condemnatory. He was the one who had been lying from day one. I needed to be away from him and calm down before I did something stupid. Standing up , I received a questioning gaze for Andrew. I just shrugged and walked toward the ladies room.
