Okay this one is monkey free I promise ;) I have a special surprise for all you guys putting up with my nonsense... Gregy's BACK! for now...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gregory's POV (This is after Kim is taken up... like idk when the specifics are but yeah...)
Something wasn't right. The note clearly said to meet Kim here. I glanced from the note to my watch. Yup, I'm on time. I began to pace worriedly. I hope they hadn't came for me and found her. I knew it was a bad idea to talk to her. I broke the biggest rule in covert protection. Never get too close to a civilian. I was crown prince after all. I was assigned a bride the day I was born. Then again, that bride did turn out to be evil...
Snap, I immediately turned my focus to forest, a mere few feet away from me. I scanned the heavily wooded area. The trees towering over me, shadowing the sun. This spot behind the school was quite ominous. I began to wonder why Kim would pick behind the school. BUt at second thought this place was perfect. My Kim was a genius. Who would dare come to a place such as this? It gave us perfect privacy and the shady trees could be seen as romantic even. Wait! Did I just think My Kim?
Snap! There it was again. Surely it's just a bunny or squirrel. The trees rustled in the wind. As loud as they were I could still hear the crunching of leaves. I began to clench and unclench my fists in anticipation for the inevitable. They had found me.
"Your highness," A familiar voice purred.
"Agent Cindy? What is going on? Where is Kim," I questioned relaxing at the sight of my trusted bodyguard.
"So many questions the young prince has..."
"For one, I'm older than you. Next, Did you write this?"
"Yeah... I did. I needed to tell you something about Kim. She's not as innocent as you think. Andrew was lost to her charm. I, on the other hand, know better. She an ex-agent." Cindy's words hit me hard. I couldn't believe this. How could I have been so naive? All the signs were there. I guess...
"Your highness," Agent Cindy started up, "Agent Andrew and I fear for you safety. You must come with me immediately..." WIth a feeling of embarrassment and dismay I followed her into the woods as she hummed and grinned her cheshire cat grin...
(AN/ this is my first time writing in a boy's pov. I hope it went well. A few details I left out in his pov this was... actually I'll just go back and add it so you guys and gals don't get confused. ;P actually in retro spec it wasn't really that helpful... Anywho happy reading)
Kim's Pov
"Your... your mom," I asked feeling my checks redden.
Andrew nodded his head slowly as if talking to an insane person. I couldn't believe this was happening. Then again it was obvious
"You don't have to be jealous. I'm all yours," Andrew teased. I would have said something smart or sarcastic but, I basically just ruined that with my big mouth. With a shrug, I stood up ,signaling I wanted to end this awkward convo. Andrew obviously didn't get my drift because he just sat their waiting for a response. I had no intetions of giving such and tapped my fingers against my thighs. After a eternity and a day, he rolled his eyes and stood up. Now it was my turn to wait for him to say something. After all, I still had no idea where we were headed. Instead he grabbed my hand and pulled me along.
I watched as the last rays of the sun disappeared behind the buildings. I loved the way the reds and violet colors danced along the sunsetting sky. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Andrew look at me.
"Isn't it beautiful," I sang dreamily.
"What? the sunset? It's okay I guess. You know if you like that sorta thing," Andrew replied casually.
I sighed at how odd this was. Andrew and I, the breath-taking sunset, and our hand clasped. His hand felt diffrent from the last time. Then again, I felt diffrent as well. I was no longer worried about a frivilous dance. I was here on a ...Ow!
I snapped out of my self-empowerment monologue and took on an awareness of my surroundings. I had rammed in to Andrew's strong back. Andrew had stopped at a car dealership. It looked fairly respectable. Not grand or anything. The brick walls match those of the doughnut shop and every other store in this town. The entrance was nice enough as we entered I had this stange urge to buy a car. The smell of hot chocolate, doughnuts, and ink wafted through the lobby. I assessed the people working here but, found them doing the same. They looked like hungry panthers ready to attack their prey. Sizing us up, watching our every step, counting my every shallow breath...
"Hello and welcome to Carter's Auto Rental, where low prices hide. What kind of car can we help you find," the receptionist greeted.
"I was thinking something that says James Bond...," Andrew retorted.
"What kind of tires?" Her face lost emotion as she waved away they advancing car salesmen.
"JXL 19qc058y7"
She slowly regained her grin and motioned for us to follow. Her hair blonde hair was pulled into a sloppy bun. She took on a serious diposition as we ventured into the back of the dealership. Her posture one to rival a prima ballerina. Her heels were muffled by the red carpet, as she walked face straight forward.
For some reason, a wave of anxiety and distrust washed over me. I should trust Andrew's instincts but, she just had a bad ora about her. She ushered us into an office and stepped out, but no before closing the door with a pass code.
I felt the room move. The movement calm enough, but still frighted me. I guess Andrew could see the fear on my face because he gave my hand a gentle squeeze. I returned it with a grin. He may have been a jerk but he was a hot jerk. And I'm still a girl.
"So... ," I began trying to drum up a sound other than our mysterious descending room.
"Why do you care about him," Andrew sighed
