*Lucy's POV*
I walked towards school feeling really tired.
Why did I stay up so late?
I continued walking and sat down on the bench, took out a book, and started reading. In the corner if my eye, I could see a group of girls talking, occasionally looking at me, then talking again.
I wonder what that's about?
Then, two of the five girls came up to me.
"Hi Lucy" one of them smiled. She had dark brown hair a summer dress on.
"Hi" I said with a confused look on my face
"Well you must be pretty upset right now" the other one said with a lighter shade of brown hair and pink highlights.
"Uh why?" All I could say was that I really was lost.
"Nothing" the girl with pink highlights said
"Okay" I said still confused
"Anyways see you around" the girl with the summer dress on said and both of them walked back to their group of friends.
Well that was weird.
I walked into the school and saw Loke.
"Hey Lucy" he said
"Hi" I responded
"So uh did you hear anything new yet?"
"New yet?"
"So are you upset or anything like that?"
"Upset?"
"Never mind but see you around" he smiled and ran off
Upset? Why does that word keep coming up?
The rest of the day went by like a breeze. And towards the exit, I saw Cana. She walked over to me smiling, but her smile looked more like an uneasy one.
"Hey" she smiled
"Hi" I said smiling back
"So uh how was your day?"
"Fine, and yours?"
"Good" she then looked at me
"So hear about anything surprising or new?"
"Surprising or new?"
"Was it anything that made you feel upset?"
Again with the word upset.
"No why?"
"Oh okay then" she started, "see you tomorrow" she said walked off
"Wait!" I shouted
"Yes?"
"Can you tell me what you meant?"
"Meant by what?"
"When you said 'was it anything that made you feel upset'"
"Oh well if you want me to"
"It's just that not only you but Loke and these two other girls came up to me asking similar questions. And they asked if I was upset but then walked away when I said no"
