My Everlasting Love (Kleo Fanfic)

Chapter seven

Ned's POV

I'm panicking now. It's been a whole day, it's almost nine o'clock night now. I checked Mia and Joe's school and apparently Kate called up and said they will not be coming for the last three days of school.

I can't believe Kate has run away with the kids. Just left, without telling me. Well I did kind of beat her with a belt while being drunk.

I want Kate and the kids back. I have gone around asking so many people where she is and no one knows.

Where would Kate go? If she needed help? And take all the kids with her. When she needs a friend, she would go where? If she wasn't in England where else would she go?

And then it struck me. I went and booked the plane to New York, leaving at midday tomorrow.

Leonardo DiCaprio.

Kate's POV

I've been thanking Leo all afternoon. We went to have coffee after that and he bought Mia and Joe hot chocolates and we had some delicious muffins.

After doing some more shopping, and Leo bought me amazing jewelry to go with the dress for the premiere. And shoes. I was almost crying.

Then he took us out for dinner at his favorite restaurant in New York. Bear has been so good today! And Joe hasn't been annoying Mia too much, they have actually been talking to each other like friends. Bear has refused to let go of Leo.

The dinner was fantastic and it was getting late. Bear fell asleep in Leo's arms. Leo handed him over to me and started driving us home.

The kids complained that it wasn't a school night and I didn't have to worry about getting them to bed early.

We opened the door to find Kelly, making herself a coffee. She looked at Leo with anger, and then she saw me and Bear, followed by Mia and Joe.

She looked like she was going to explode but kept her cool. Leo just raised his eyebrow at her and ignored her.

"Come on, I'm sure Mia and Joe have each chosen a guest bedroom of their own, go get ready for bed," he explained.

Mia and Joe happily left, which was surprising because they don't like going to bed.

"And as for you Katie and baby Bear, I'll show you to a nice guest bedroom. I'm sorry but I don't have a cot," he said shaking his head.

"It's alright Leo, Bear can sleep with me in the bed, he's old enough. Thank you so much Leo!"

Kelly gave Leo a death stare. I'm scared she was going to give Leo a piece of her mind for letting us stay here.

Leo sensed my tension and whispered "don't worry, I'll deal with her."

I followed him to an amazing guest bedroom, tucking Bear in and then leaving to go and brush my teeth.

He went off, back downstairs to Kelly.

Leo's POV

I walked downstairs to find Kelly, fuming.

"What the hell Leo! You couldn't have at least told me that Kate and her stupid children were coming?"

Kate and her stupid children.

I could feel the anger gather up inside me. Not only for this moment, but since out relationship started. Kelly is such a bitch, and today my eyes finally opened.

"Shut up!" I yelled. "You can't talk about her like that! She's my best friend, and she's been going through a tough time lately! You stole my damn credit card! Yes, I changed the pin," I fumed.

All of hell was breaking loose now. She was getting angrier by the minute. Then, all of a sudden, she calmed down. And just walked away.

"Okay," she said calmly.

I stood there in surprise. Did she just shut up and walk away? And actually listen to me? No she's Kelly. She will not give up that easily. She always plans revenge.

I walked back up the stairs to find Kate just walking out of the bathroom. She saw my frustration and gave me a hug.

"I don't want me and my kids staying here, ruin your relationship with Kelly," she clarified.

"It's not. She's just mad mostly because I changed the PIN number," I lied.

I hate lying to Kate. I hardly ever do it, but I felt like this time it was necessary.

"Are you sure Leo?"

"Yes."

I walked away from her and told her that she should get some rest. Tomorrow is the premiere/reunion thing. I went and had a quick shower, washing my emotions away.

I stood in the shower, but did realize I hadn't locked the door. Kelly walked in. I gasped and turned around but she just started taking all her clothes off.

She knocked on the glass door of the shower and said "knock knock. Can I have a shower with you?"

"I'm almost finished," I defended.

"I'm still coming in," she concluded.

"Okay, whatever."

She stepped into the shower and looked at my naked body. It was surprising uncomfortable.

I continued to put soap on the rest of my body and walked out fairly quickly, leaving her in the shower.

"What's up?" She picked up the soap.

What's up? You're kidding me. After everything that's happened, she asks me "what's up?"

"Seriously?" Is all I said, and walked out of the on suite bathroom.

I lay down in my bed as Kelly walked in, fully naked and sat right in front of me. I just softly groaned and looked the other way.

"Are you mad at me baby?" She asked.

I've always been mad at you.

Kelly's POV

I don't care if he's mad at me. As long as we don't break up, and I can get that bracelet and all his property under my name.

I don't know how long I'm going to be waiting for it, but it will happen. I've been waiting for it to happen for ages.

I got dressed and slipped in next to Leo in the covers. I didn't bother even trying to talk to him anymore.

He wants to play the silent game? Well...two can play at that game. And one day Leonardo, I will have all your valuables. And I will get there.

I smiled to myself and fell asleep.
