Chapter sixteen

Kelly's POV

I want it. I want that bracelet so bad. I don't think I have desired something so much in my entire life.

"I told you, if you kill Leo, you can take the bracelet, and claim he gave it too you. Cry over his death and make it believable. I would find a way to do it myself, but I need to take the kids back to England. And since it'll work out for both of us, this may turn out to not only benefit me, but you as well," explained Ned.

I nodded as we sat in the cafe and he took a sip of his coffee.

Kate's horrible children are in the city buying shit that kids buy. And they have Gorilla with them too. Oops, I mean Bear.

Hah! Ned is so careless that I like it! I needed someone like him to understand.

"I just hate him," he repeated for the hundredth time.

"I do too," I said.

"So you know what your doing? You can't mess this up!" Ned reminded me.

"Well I haven't exactly got a plan of how I'm killing him, but I'll figure it out."

"Please don't mess this up," he pleaded.

"I won't!" I snapped. I was slightly annoyed that he kept telling me that. I get it.

I took a gulp of my berry smoothie. Need to maintain my shape. My worst fear is being fat and ugly.

"So you're saying, that Kate is supposed to be staying with me and Leo now?" I asked.

"Yes, that's correct."

Great. So now not only do I have to deal with Leo, I have to deal with Kate as well? Am I not trusted enough to take care of him? Well...I am going to kill him.

He doesn't know how alert he has to be.

All I could think about, is that beautiful bracelet. Diamond with Swarovski crystals and gold...ugh I gotta get it. It's priceless and the talk of Hollywood. All the models, actresses and singers all desire and just wish they had it.

I swear it's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. And it's Leo's. And Leo just will not give it to me, no matter how "nice" I am, or how much interest I show in the bracelet.

"So you can handle this? If you need help, here is my number. Call me when you're done," he said, giving me a number on a piece of paper.

I took a deep breath. "Yes, I will."

I'm going to kill Leonardo DiCaprio.

Mia's POV

I have always been suspicious of the things Ned does. He sent me, Joe and Bear to go buy things while he finished some "business".

"Business?" I said to him. "When will you be back?"

"Soon. Don't wander off too far. I'll be back soon," he repeated.

Then he got into a car, that he had rented while we were to be here in America, and drove off.

I stood there with Joe by my side and Bear in my arms. "Okay guys, we are going shopping now!"

Joe looked at me like a weirdo. Which I guess I was, and to be honest I feel like I sounded like mum just then.

I walked into an electronics store and picked up some headphones.
