My Everlasting Love (Kleo Fanfic)

Chapter eleven

I ran straight to Leo. I could think of anything else. I could feel myself tearing up at the thought of him not being in my life.

"Leo," I screamed. "Leo can you hear me? Someone call the ambulance!"

Most people rushed over to help Leo, and others that were too scared, ran away.

Leo lay there unconscious, blood gushing out from his arm. He was loosing blood really fast, it was a deep wound.

The ambulance came taking Leo on a stretcher, to the vehicle. I followed them and the fans were going nuts.

I asked if I could come with Leo to the hospital. After fighting with them, they let me.

I watched as my beloved Leo lay on the hospital bed while the ambulance took us to the hospital. I held his hand and whispered, "it's going to be alright."

They wheeled him into the hospital and wouldn't allow me to go any further. I sat in the waiting room impatiently.

Please let him be alright.

Ned's POV

I counted the money in my hand, and handed it to the men.

"We are sure he is dead. If not dead then will die soon," explained the first man.

"Thank you very much for your help. You may leave now," I smirked.

I'm not sure what Kate sees in him, but I really hope he is gone for good. Especially after what I heard the kids say.

*one hour earlier*

I walked over to Leo's house. The same middle aged lady opened the door. "Hello there, I would like to see my kids. And Kate has given me full permission to see them. I'll call her and you can talk to her if you want."

"Yes please put her on the phone," the lady demanded. "I'm sorry it's my job."

"It's alright, here you go." I held my phone up to my ear and explained to Kate. Then I handed it to the lady.

After a nice discussion with Kate, she handed the phone back to me and stepped aside.

I entered the house, planning to give Mia and Joe a surprise. I creeped up the stairs to the game room, where I opened the door just a crack, but stopped dead in my tracks.

"I think Leo loves mom as well," said Joe, stuffing marshmallows in his face.

"Well the way they look at each other, I'm sure they are in love, they just don't know it yet. We know mom so well, and she is way happier with Leo than Ned," replied Mia.

"Yeah so true. They have so much chemistry, and 'Kleo' is the talk of the fans these days." Joe squished a marshmallow between his fingers.

"I don't even like Ned as much as I like Leo. He was really...mean to mom," stated Mia. "I hoped he wouldn't come back to get us, but now he's here."

"I wish he didn't come," nodded Joe.

I could feel myself getting angrier. My hands started shaking and I made my way back downstairs, where the lady was rocking Bear.

I held my arms out to Bear, but he just turned around and refused to come in my arms. The lady just shrugged and walked away.

"Did you meet your kids?" She yelled, walking to the kitchen.

"Err...yes," I lied.

I walked outside and sat in my car. Good thing I have a few old friends who have connections to assassins.

So Leonardo DiCaprio. You're taking my wife and kids away from me? Well, we shall see about that. I've never liked you anyway.

Kate's POV

"You may see him now," said a nurse as she walked out to the waiting room to come get me.

I ran over to Leo, who was in the hospital bed, wires connected to him from all directions. The doctors and nurses left. He had a thick bandage on his arm that was still spotted with blood.

"Leo. Leo, please wake up Leo, don't leave me here Leo," I whispered, tears streaming down my face.

"I need you Leo. If you leave me now I don't know how I will live my life. Please stay here, on this earth, with me. What monster would do this to you?" I sobbed.

"I need you," I repeated, I then squished into the space next to him on the bed and buried my face in his chest.

"I need you Leo. I need you Leo, please don't go, I need you..." I don't know how long I repeated that for.

I really need you.

Leo's POV

I blinked my eyes open to find myself staring at a ceiling in the hospital. I suddenly remembered everything that happened. Pains shot through my arm.

I carefully looked over to find Kate, with her face buried in my chest, mumbling things. I listened a little bit more closely.

"I need you Leo, don't leave me, please stay alive..." She cried, not realizing that I had woken up.

I carefully stroked her hair. "Shhh," I cooed.

She looked up at me, in utter surprise and relief.

"Hey Katie," I smiled.

She started drying off her tears, but gave up and collapsed in my cheat again, crying.

"Why are you crying Katie?" I pushed her hair away from her tear stained face.

"Because I thought you were gone," she whispered.

I held her face up and her eyes met mine. She looked a mess, makeup everywhere, and a lot of her hair had fell out of the side ponytail.

I was still in my tux, except the doctors had cut one sleeve off, so they could wrap my wound up.

"I don't know what I would do if you died," she said, breaking the silence.

"You would've lived on, because you're a strong beautiful warrior," I answered.

"Not without you."

"That's not true."

"Yes it is," she argued.

"It's isn't, and you know it. You are an amazing person Kate. Everyone will die one day. And I will always be with you. Even if you can't see me, I will always be there."

Oh Kate, if only you knew the truth about my feelings. I'm sure you wouldn't care if I died after that.
