I know what I must do. But it feels so weird being in front of her like this. Her lifeless soul. I can't believe I'm actually going to do this.

Slowly, as if she was going to spring up at me any minute, I lifted the cover to reveal her pale face. I'm not sure why I did it. It's not like I needed too.

The knife glinted in one hand and the bandage in the other. One last glance to see if there was anybody around. Luckily, her body was more in the corner of the room, therefore less of a chance of being spotted.

Not like she's gonna feel anything.

I lay down paper towels and grabbed some crisp bed sheets under her lifeless cold hand. Grabbing her phone from her pocket, I tried all her fingerprints till her right thumb matched and unlocked the phone.

This phone was cold hard evidence. There was no other way to unlocking the phone, since we didn't know her passcode.

The knife needed to be angled correctly for the least amount of blood flow. Like I was cutting a chicken leg or something. Except this was a bloody human. That I knew. That I saw and talked to when she was a living, breathing being.

Slice after slice, I chopped her finger off. It was defiantly an experience. I swear I don't have a fetish for this. I only needed a little bit of the finger. Only take what you need, like I wouldn't need the whole arm now would I.

I wrapped it in the little plastic bag and bandaged up her finger. Her body was cold as ice.

Hurrying out of there, I ran into Leo, talking to the bulky nurse we met earlier. Except this time, he was actually getting along with her.

"Well, I better get going. It was nice to meet you...Julie," he finished and made his way to me, who tried to act as casual as I could.

"Nice lady, kind of annoying, she's a weightlifter. I think I'm in love!" Leo smirked.

Rolling my eyes, I shoved him into the wall next to me, causing him to yelp.

"Well, you didn't have to go all she-hulk on me, you know you're the only one I truly love," he said, straightening up in annoyance.

"I know," I winked. "But the deed is done."

"Oh no, Kate, what did you do?"

Leo's POV

Kate can be extremely secretive if she wants to, and because we are actors, we are pretty good at...you know...acting.

Right now, it was a challenge just to figure out what was going through her magnificent mind.

By magnificent I mean crazy.

"KATE I SWEAR TO GOD YOU LITTLE TWAT-" I started to scream dramatically, in hopes to be intimidating.

"Oh shut up, and calm that little bitch of yours, you sound like a woman for gods sake."

"Oh thats it," I shook my head at her.

She put her hand over my face. Then removed it revealing a small plastic bag with red stuff in it.

"Did you have your period and put it in a bag?" I asked, squinting at it.

Kate slammed her fist into my arm. "Remind me to take you to the optometrist next time."

Then I realized that yes, my eyes did not deceive me. There was an actual human finger in the bag.

"Kate, if I had known about this, I would have put you in an asylum long ago."

"And run off with Janie?"
