First Date

A month later

Benji and Zoey been talking to each other a lot since he won the state champs.
one night Mar and i were in the living room watching tv together, while Prince played on the floor with his coloring book. Benji walked in stood in front of us with a nervous look on his face.

"moms?" he said we looked at him saw the look on his face

"sup?" i said

he played with his hands as he took a deep breath and looked at us.

"i wanted to know if it'll be cool if i can take Zoey out on a date this Friday?" he ask 

I grin, as Mar stared at him with a blank look on her face. she was hoping to never hear him ask us that question or even say anything about dating.

"where you plan on taking her?" i ask

"skating than out for some ice cream." he ans. i thought for a moment

"sure, I'm cool." i ans

he looked at Mar and said "and you, mama...can i?"

"ah, ain't you a little young to be dating?" Mar question

"haha, let him go, he's almost 15." i smirk

"please, mommy can i please." Benji begged making his puppy eyes

"ah, okay but..." benji cut her off as he almost jump on her hugging her

"thank you, thank you mommy." Benji said

he let go of her and jogged to his room as he said "gonna call her now, love you two forever."

he closed his bedroom door and called Zoey. i laughed softly Mar looked at me.

"puppy love." i smirk she couldn't help but smile herself.

Friday Afternoon

Benji was all ready for his first date. he was looking good, had Mar do his braids for him. we took a picture of him. than he got on his bike and rode on out to Zoey's house she only live a block away from us. i had gave him some extra cash for his date.

While he was out on his date, i had to keep Mar from sneaking out to go follow after him. i was in the den when Mar had grabbed her keys and wallet, and quietly walked to the front door. she unlocked the door and slowly opened it making sure i don't hear her. then she turned her head

"ah." she gasps

there was Prince standing on the front porch with his arms fold, he knew Mar was gonna try to sneak out so he snuck out ran around the house to stop her. 

"Prince." Mar said

"ah uh go back, mama." Prince said pointing his finger inside.  Mar sigh deeply and turned around.

Prince walked in closed and locked the door, Mar walked in saw me dying of laughter. i had gave Prince some Twizzlers

"good looking out, Prince." i smirk

"welcome mami." he said as he chew on a piece walking to his room.

Mar walked up to me.

"relax, bae we've raised a good young man." i said, holding her in my arms.

"i know, just wish he wasn't growing up so fast." Mar sigh. lying her head on my chest.

Benji POV

Zoey and I were at the skating rink, had brought our skates. we put them on and begin skating around dancing a bit to the music. we was having so much fun, had took pictures and all. After we was done skating i brought us some hot dogs. we sat down and talked as we ate. i couldn't stop smiling so much.

"you have a sexy smile." Zoey smiled

"thank you." i said.

than we got up and played some games. i had won her a cute pink teddy bear. after that we got on my bike and rode on over to the ice cream shop. got what we wanted we walked around the little park eating our ice cream, she feed me a spoon of hers as i did for mine.

then we had our first kiss. lasted a good 20 seconds. than we stared at each other smiling. we held hands as we walked back to the bike rack. i got on it, she stood on the back bars held onto me and i took her on home. don't want to be late for curfew. I rode up in her driveway. we both got off the bike.

"thank you, i had a great time." Zoey smiled

"your welcome, i had great time too." i smiled

We hugged each other gave each other a good night kiss.

"good night, Benji." she smiled

"sweet dreams, Zoey." i said. we waved to each other.

i watched her walked to her front door, than i got on my bike and rode on home. got there about 8 minutes later. i rode up to the garage, pressed the code the garage opened up. i put my bike up to the side. closed the garage and went inside the house. i had took my shoes off. Mom were in their room waiting for me.

*ring* my cell went off i saw it was Zoey. i smiled as i answered her call.

"heyy." i said

"heyy, just checking to see if you made it in okay." she said

"yea, just walked in." i said

"okay, oh and thank you for my teddy bear." she said, i can tell she was smiling through the phone.

"your very welcome, i really had fun tonight." i said smiling

"me too, well i gotta get ready for bed, so good night...again." she said, we chuckled softly

"sweet dreams, talk to you later." i said

we hung up, i put my cell in my pocket. i walked down the hall to moms' room. They saw me smiling all big and all. i walked up to their bed, turned around and just fall back on their bed. held my hands behind my head, stared up at the ceiling as i exhale smiling.

Moms looked at each other and smiled and looked at me.

"i take it you had a good time." mami said

"ahh, it was awesome." i ans.

i looked at them and begin telling them about my first date, but left out the kiss, both of them. then i got up off the bed.

"good night moms." i said i begin heading out the room

"what, no kiss?" mama asked.

i chuckled as i turned around climb on the bed, crawl over to her and kissed her cheek. got off the bed. heading out the room.

"that's not what i meant." mama shouts

"i know." i shout back laughing

"Beni." she whine

"go to sleep mama." i laughed, as i walked in my room, closing my door.

Koy POV

i chuckled softly. as i plugged my cell up, Mar was fussing a bit.

"he gotten his kiss, Mar." i smirk laying down on my pillow.

"and he couldn't tell us." she ask

"would you, if you was him." i ask

she made a face, she answered my question

"exactly." i chuckled.

she laid down next to me, i wrapped my arms around her held her close to my body.

"we've raised him well, Mar...relax." i said kissing her neck.

"oh hush and kiss me." she said .

i chuckled as we cuddled and kissed.
