When will you be home?

Five months later

Koy POV

I've been overseas in Afghanistan. Fighting doing this mission just wishing it was over so i can go home to my wife and my sons. i miss them too much. Been scared and all, watching where i step, where i turn. it only takes one wrong move and your life is over.

3pm

i walked in the tent, sat down in the chair had logged onto my oovoo account and video call my heart Mar.

Mar POV

I was sitting on the floor in the living room, finishing up some paper work. it was just about 9pm when i heard my laptop beeping. i looked up and gasp as i saw it was Koy video calling me. I pressed the button her face appeared on the screen.

"hello Love." she smiled

"heyy, Koy." i smile, was so happy to see her.

"where's my babies?" she ask smiling.

"Beni...Prince come here!" i shout

they came walking in, Beni said "yea."

"mami online." i smiled. they gasps as they ran to me. Prince sat on my legs as Beni lay up on the couch behind me.

"hi, mami." they said smiling

we all talked, was laughing and all. than they had to get ready for bed.

Koy and i stared at each other. was silent just staring.

"when you coming home, we need you." i ask

"i don't know, but soon baby, soon." she ans

i sigh deeply and said "i miss you, Koy."

"i know, i miss you too i'm doing everything i can to hurry up and come home." Koy said

she kissed her hand and place it on the screen as she said "i love you Mar, ever and ever."

i kissed my hand and place it on the screen, as i said "i love you forever Koy."

we ended the call, i closed my laptop, had hid my face in my arms as i softly begin crying. Beni came in saw me crying. walked on over kneel down grab my arm and held me. i held him in my arms.

"she'll be home soon, mommy, she never breaks her promises." he said doing his best to make me feel better.

Koy POV

i laid on my cot, running my finger over my wedding band, staring at a picture of my wife and my sons. i begin to shed a tear. i was missing my family so much. i can feel the strain on my heart being away from them for too long.

A month later

i was finally done and over with the army. the mission was completed. I had flew on home. got there had smirk as i saw my twin brother Khalil waiting for me at his truck. we walked up to each other and hugged each other.

"welcome home, Twin." he smile

"good to be home." i smiled.

we got in the truck and rode on out. I didn't tell anyone i was coming home, i wanted to surprise them. we drove on over to Benji's school. parked and went inside the building. Ms.Paulina gasp as she saw me.

"hey, where's he?" i asked smiling.

"in the gym picture day." she ans.

i thought for a moment and told her what we can do if its alright with her. she nod her head and had me follow her to the gym. we saw Benji standing in line with his class, talking and laughing. she walked on over to the photographer told him the plan. he smiled and nod his head. I crept up behind the screen the kids were too busy goofing around they didn't even see me.
