Drugged

Benji POV

Two days later

I borrowed the truck and went to see mom. Without mama knowing. I got to the apartment mom been staying at. We hugged and sat down on the couch.

"What happened, cause the pictures saying different?" I ask

"She showed you the pictures?" Mom ask

"No, I snuck and saw them she doesn't know." I ans.

Mom rubbed her head a bit

"All I remember was sitting at the coffee shop sipping tea, some woman came we begin talking bout the book I was reading, I turned my head as I saw a bunch of squad cars speeding by...I turned around drank my tea." She pause for a moment

"Got dizzy and real light headed, than next thing you know I woke up in my car." She finished.

I thought for a moment

"Where's your tablet?" I ask

"Kitchen counter." She ans

I got up walk and grabbed it, I begin typing in the symptoms mom said. Mom walked on over. I found a short list of drugs.

"I think you was drugged, mom." I said

"What." She questioned

"That woman drugged you, before she came you had no headache, when she came you turn yo head she put something in yo tea, you drink some and sudden you have a headache...I checked online there's only four drugs that could be used in drinks and do that." I said.

Mom checked it out, she couldn't believe someone drugged her.

"The drug should still be in your system so I would have doc test you for all four of them." I said

She hugged me, I hugged her as she softly cried.

"I know, I know mom." I said.

"Alright you get on home, I'ma go to doc, and I'ma have our cousin Ghost check the pictures he might be able to find who took them." She said. I nod and left on out.

I was gone for about two hours. Had parked and came in the house. Walked down the hall, rub my hair back.

"Beni." Mama said

I stopped as I look up saw mama sitting on the living room couch with a glass of wine in her hand.

"Yea?" I ask. She nod her head. I sigh softly and walked on over, sat down on the couch.

"Gone for a long time." She said

"Yea...I went to see mom." I said

She made a face as she said "you was supposed to tell..."

I cut her off "I know I know, I had to see her...I'm sorry."

She sigh "I understand."

"I know about the pictures, mom didn't do this." I said

"Beni..." mom sigh, I grabbed a hold of her hand

"I know the pictures says otherwise but she didn't do it, not willingly...mom wouldn't dare hurt you." I said, I move my head so she can look right at me.

"Another thing, that woman...pishh is nothing to compared to you, you're wayy more sexier than her." I smirk.

Made mama smile and laugh a bit.

"You are our queen, mama we would do anything for you." I said. She hugged me.

"I love you Beni." She said

"I love you too mama." I said, had kissed her cheek and got up

As I was finna walk out, I stopped and look at mama.

"Can I ask you something?" I ask

She looked at me as she ans "yea."

"Why did you fall in love with mom's eyes?" I ask.

She softly open her mouth saw the look as I asked her that. I turned and went to my room.
