He got game

Three months Later

we all was sitting outside up in the stands watching Benji do his thang out on the football field. Tonight was the state champs. Benji team were in the lead 56-54. the other team had the ball. there was 20 seconds later on the clock.

Laurent stole the ball back he threw it to Benji and he took off running fast as he could down the field. WE all stood up

"Go, Go, Go Benji!" 

he jumped over a player and cont running. he made it to the goal, just as the buzzer went off. everyone went crazy cheering

"the warriors wins, the warriors wins state champs!" the announcer stated all over the speakers.

Benji did his little dance and ran to his team mates. they all showed each other love. Benji was holding the game ball up in the air. than he ran to his coach. he gave it to him

"this is for you and Lily, coach." he said. 

Tiko held the ball, as he shed a tear. he looked up at his team saw them holding up "L's" to the night sky. his daughter just passed two weeks ago. they honored their last game to her. she was a sweet little girl always been at their games and practices

he nod his head and held the ball up to the sky.

After that they shook hands with the other team and went to the locker rooms. Benji had freshen up and changed clothes. he came out the school finna walked to the parking lot where Mar, Prince, his aunts and uncles and Jamie and i were waiting.

"hey, Benji." a girl called out. he stopped and turned his head. his eyes lit up a bit as he saw it was the girl he's been crushing on for a while.

"hey, Zoey." he smiled.

she walked up to him. and smile "you was amazing out there, thanks for winning the champs for us."

"your welcome and thanks for watching me play." Benji said

she took out a piece of paper wrote her name and number on it, place it in his hand, held his hand as she lean towards him and gave him a kiss on his cheek.

"see you around." she smiled

"see you." he smiled, she turned and walked with her friends. he watched her walked away.

he chuckled softly as he cont walking to the parking lot, we saw the whole thing. he put the number in his pocket.

"we saw that, playa." Khali smirk

we chuckled softly, Mar went into her big mama bear mode.

"relax mama, you know you're still my number one lady." Benji smiled

"haha come on lets go celebrate." i smiled

we all got in our rides and rode on out.

Benji sat in the backseat he had plugged Zoey's number in his cell. and sent her a text letting her know it's him texting her.

they texted back and forth the whole ride to the restaurant.
