The Bus Ride

My phones's bout to die. This is so great. I rolled my eyes and sat on the bus. So fantastic to go to a feild trip with my friends but all of them are on a different bus. Stupid bus numbers. I sat there and turned off my phone, staring out the window. I sighed and sat there awkwardly as the bus filled more and more with random people I hardly know. Everyone has a partner, besides me. My boyfriend hates me and he never loved me. I'm breaking up with him on the Belle if he doesn't go with me.

I snapped out of my thought as someone tapped my shoulder. "Is this seat taken?" I shook my head and continued to stare out the window. God, I don't want to be alone on this trip. "So.. Alice, isn't it?" I turned towards the person and nodded. "Yeah... I'm her.." I stared at him. "I'm Lee." He smiled and pulled out his phone and earbuds. I looked down and zoned out again, thinking about him.

"I know we have the same classes and stuff, and we eat together at lunch because of friends. But," He paused. "I never known you." He smiles softly at me. I nodded in agreement. "So what do you want to know about me?" "Well, what type of music do you listen to?" "Um.. I did listen to Country music, because my mother always played it in the car." I giggled. "I like country too," He smiles softly.

"What else?" I tilted my head lightly. "Well.. I like Rap.." He added. "Oh.. I dont listen to rap.. I'm not a big fan." I bowed my head. "Oh, then what to you like?" "Pop.. Rock.." I smiled softly. "So, coldplay?" "Yes." "I do too.." He smiled softly. I nodded and turned to the window as we left the parking lot and to downtown.

The sun reflected off the water as we all just crowded up to stare at the wonder. Lee and I sat there awkwardly and smiling. Today might not go as well. I stood up and got off the bus as we headed on to the boat. Please god, let me have fun and meet another friend on here.

We all got on the boat and we sat down, Lee walking to the back of the boat. I smiled and sat there as I sipped on my drink. "Alice!!" I turned to see me old friend, Autumn, standing there with a smile.
