Chapter 19

Calum's P.O.V.

After I little bit I called Luke up and told him I would be over in a minute. He replied with OK and said he was working on writing a new song to show to Capital Records. I hung up and hopped in the shower.

I put on a plain gray shirt, black skinny jeans, black combat boots, and a green beanie. I grabbed my bike and rode to Luke's house a couple blocks down.

I knocked on the door to see Luke's mom answer. I told her that Luke was expecting me and she let me in. I went down to the basement to find no one.

Then next thing you know, Luke's jumping out behind me scaring the living h**l out of me.

"Dude what the heck. Your so childish"

"Maybe but you sure do scream like a girl"

"Oh whatever mate" is said slightly punching his arm.

"So I've been working on some lyrics and I wanted you to look over them first."

So the rest of the night included us working, eating pizza, and playing Mario Cart.

Jenn's P.O.V.

The movie was amazing. Calum and I shared popcorn and a large slurpee. After the movie Calum got a call from saying that the people from Capital Records wanted to hear them again. So Calum went to my house to drop me off then went home.

When I got on the house I noticed that some weird shoes were at the front door. Then a man's coat on the couch. But dad left for work this morning.

I ran up to stairs to hear moaning coming from my mom's room. I busy open the door to see a man on top of my mom.

"You cheater!!!" I yelled and slammed the door shut.

I ran down the stairs hearing my mom curse as while from her room.

I grabbed my penny board, jacket, and ran outside to Emma's house.

Emma's P.O.V.

I was in the middle of watching Supernatural when I heard a knock at the door.

I opened the door to see Jenn balling her eyes out. I immediately pulled her into my arms rubbing her back soothing her.

After a couple minutes we walked into my house. I sat on the couch and asked her what's wrong. But before she answered I stood up and said, " If it was Calum I will beat his a**"

"No it wasn't him. It was my mom."

"Wait what!"

"Yeah I walked in on my mom cheating. "

"That's f***ed up."

"No kidding."

"You want to call Calum?"

"No it's fine. Him and Luke are writing a new song for a record company."

"That's cool so you want to stay the night?"

"Sure."

"So what do you want to do?"

"Could we go swimming? Calum's house has one a day he gave me the keys."

"Sure you can borrow one of my swimming suits"

"Thanks."

I ran upstairs and grabbed two bikinis. One was white with gold stripes. While the other was black with blue polka dots.

Jenn picked the blue one and we both got changed. After I gave Jenn a pair of flip flops and we were on our way.
