The wether man had been calling for a category 3 hurricane to hit on Saturday. My parents had still decided to go up to the trailer for the weekend. No one thought the storm would be as bad as it was.
It was Saturday. The rain pounded down on the windows of the trailer. We couldn't see out of the windows. It was next to impossible to open up the door. I didn't think the storm would end.
It was about 2 o'clock in the afternoon when the storm ended. Nick had texted me to come out of the trailer in old cloths cause it was really muddy out. It was still raining out but we decided to go for a walk anyways. It was devistating to see trailers ruined, trees everywheres, the campground was a flooded, muddy, mess. As we walked around we saw a vehicle pull up beside us. It was my parents. They said they had saw some of Nick's friends comming our way. As Nick's friends came my parents left. "Let's go puddle jumping" one of them said. Everyone agreed to go so we walked around the whole campground jumping in puddles except for me and one of the little girls. We just walked beside everyone else. The group decided to get the dirt off of them in the lake so they went and jumped in. I didn't really want to get into the lake so I just sat in one of the beach chairs and waited till everyone was done. They wanted to go in the pool next so that's what they did.
I was standing behind the fence watching everyone jump into the pool. I didn't really talk to anyone but Nick so I felt kinda out of place. I watched how much fun Nick was having with all of his friends but, after a while I got bored and started to play on his phone. Just as I looked up from his phone I noticed Nick was walking my way. I put up the phone and came out from behind the fence. He asked me "Do you have your phone on you?"."No it is at my trailer why?" "Oh I wanted to play Jetpack Joyride" he answered. "Oh" I said. Just as I glanced back towards him I noticed he was gone and all of a sudden I felt him pick me up and begin to run towards the pool. Just before he jumped into the pool with me in his arms he yelled 321 and we were under the water. I got to know all of Nick's friends that day. A terrible day became so much more fun then any of us expected.
