Well it had been two weeks since the campground closed for the season. I was in math class when I got a text. I looked down at my phone to see it was a message from Nick. It said "Hey can we talk for a min" I replied "I am still in class but we aren't doing much so we can text". I didn't get a answer for a couple minutes but then he replied " you know I really wish your brother wouldn't like me so much". I thought it was weird and I didn't understand what he was talking about so I responded "Why? What are you talking about?" He answered "if your brother wouldn't have been there the last weekend maybe something could have happened between us." "Ya" "would you have actually kissed me" he questioned. "YES" I answered. "Would you have gone further than a kiss." My heart started pounding out of my chest. I said "yes" we talked a bit more that night but it was a fantastic frying to know that he actually liked me and wasn't just being a jerk. After that day every time he sent me a text instead of just saying hi or hey he would send hey babe or sup cutie. I was so pumped to actually have a love life now. Only thing was that I had to wait another 6 months before my parents would let us date so we stayed friends for now. Those 200 days were the longest days of my whole life and it was bad enough I had a count down till when I would see him again.
