Nick and Ryan had been walking around with me for a half of a hour and I could see it in Nick's face that he wanted to spend time alone with me. Ryan's mother had texted him at around 9pm and told him to come check in with her. As soon as he got in his trailer Nick and me went down to the water cause we knew he wasn't aloud down there.
At the beach there were 3 docks and off the middle one there was a floating dock. From the dock to the floating dock it was roughly 3 feet down so we jumped down. Nick went to the end of the dock and laid down so I decided to lay down next to him. " Wow! The sky is beautiful tonight" he said. I looked up and it was a starry paradise. We talked for hours upon hours about our pasts, and our futures. We talked about the stars for awhile. "Oh look there's a shooting star" Nick pointed out. I had never seen a shooting star till that night. After he told me about that one star we saw it was a sky full of shooting stars and we couldn't figure out what was going on. "The meteor shower is why there are so many shooting stars and that's why I wanted you to come down here so bad" Nick whispered. We just looked at the sky for awhile. I could see him look over to me a bunch out of the corner of my eye. Then I noticed him look over and stare at me so I looked over at him. My heart was pounding so loud. "Ooh there are people down on the dock" said a group of people. "Oh shoot! Those are my friends. We have to run for it" Nick said. We both put our hoods up and walked across the dock. As soon as we got out of their sight we bolted up to the rec centre.
I got a text from my parents saying I had to come back. I didn't even realize it was 2 in the morning and we had spent all that time by ourselves. That night was the first night i started having feelings for Nick and not the kind like "He is so cute and perfect for me" but the kind like "I want to spend more time with him" to know if he liked me.
