After what happened on the slip and slide Nick started hanging out with our group 24/7. We were the only two people in the group with curly hair and we were almost the same age so all of our friends decided to tease us and call us Mr and Mrs Curly as if we were "together" or something. We both acted like we hated it but secretly we loved it. As time passed we became better friends and we're partially inceperable.

The long weekend had finally come around again. It was Friday at roughly 6 o'clock when things went bad again. I hadn't told my friends about my anxiety. That day so many things had me stressed out. Ryan, Serena and me were down by the public washrooms when I lost it. I ran up to the bathrooms and started to cry and get sick. Ryan left when I ran to the bathroom and went to his trailer. Serena had no idea what was happening and I managed to mutter out the words "get...Nick or...Kaiden. Kaiden was a kid who I had met only a few weekends before but he was like a big brother to me. He was friends with Nick and a year older than me. Serena had left for a second then I could hear her say "Nick come here". Nick ran into the girls bathroom and sat next to me in the stall. I wasn't sick anymore but I was still crying. He looked at me and said "anxiety sucks doesn't it". "How did you know?" I asked. "I have had anxiety sense I was 10 he said. 10 Serena left and Nick got me cleaned up. He helped me remove my makeup and got me back onto a good mood. That was the first day I had ever cried in front of a boy.

Nick kept me close by from then on. He would get me to come watch him play washer toss, and we even watched the fireworks together that weekend. At the end of the night he would walk me up to my trailer, wait till I went in, then he would walk back down to his trailer. That was how my first year of camping went.
