Harry was lucky enough that Niall didn't bother him when they went to eat breakfast and the drive to work. He was able to relax and enjoy everything. It's not like he doesn't get the chance to enjoy himself. He does but it comes with him being tense due to the blonde doing something cute or sexual to or for him. He will never get use to that no matter how long he lives. Currently, he sits at the front desk doing paperwork for the pets since today has been a slow day so far. The front door opens and a good-looking guy walks in. He looks around before his eyes land on Harry. He walks over to the front desk then smirks at him.

"What pet do you think would be just as cute as you Harry?" The male questions after reading the curly hair male's nametag.

"Umm maybe one of the cats." Harry replies, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear."Or our bunnies since a lot of tend to adopt them."

"A cat would due just nicely." Damon says then holds his hand out for him to shake."Oh I'm so sorry. Where are my manner? Damon is the name."

"Hi. Unfortunately, I can't take you to the area with the cats but Caroline over there can." Harry explains, shaking his hand then pointing to his coworker.

"Alright. I hope I get to see you again and spend some more time with you." Damon confess before walking away.

"I hope you find what you want." Harry says then looking behind him once he hears someone sigh heavily.

Harry looks over at the blonde and he gulps when he sees the look in his eyes. He has never seen that look and he's kind of turn on but mostly terrified. He looks as if he's going to explode but also kill someone. This leaves the green eye male curious as to what could have made him this way. He hopes that he isn't the cause of that. All he did was mind his business. He knows that he is going to find out soon since he comes over to him. He jumps when he feels his arm wrap around his waist then pull him to the backroom. The door is close once they are inside but Niall's still doesn't leave his waist.

"Is everything alright? Did you get fired? Did I?" Harry questions, fearing the worst now.

"Don't talk to him. He's bad news." Niall informs, seeming a bit more calm now.

"Why do you say that?" Harry asks since he didn't get any bad vibes from Damon and most of the time he's right about people.

"He's friends with Katherine. If anyone is her friend after what she did then they are just like her." Niall answers before another thought comes to his mind."She probably sent him."

"Hey no sex or making out during work." Veronica states while snapping her fingers at them when she enters the room.

"I can remind you that I am in fact straight." Niall replies with a wink, moving his body away from his friend.

"Says the guy who paints his nails." She responds, causing him to laugh before shrugging.

"Well excuse me for being comfortable with my masculinity." Niall says, putting a hand to his heart.

Harry wants to deflate after hearing that. Instead of doing that since he can't physically do it, he restorts to going back to work. He goes to leave the room but his arm his grab quickly. He looks over his shoulder and sees Niall giving him a look as to remember what he said. He nods his head then looks down at his arm as a way to say let go. His arm is free and with that he leaves the room. The moment he steps out to the front desk again he spots Zayn walking in as Damon walks out with a kitten and a bag. They both end up saying a few words to each other before Harry waves Zayn over. He makes sure that Niall isn't around before he starts speaking.

"Niall said he's bad news so I shouldn't become friends with him." Harry informs his friend, who looks back at the entrance.

"Aww your little boyfriend is jealous." Zayn teases, making him roll his eyes with a scoff.

"The reason he said that you idiot is because he's friends with Katherine who is back in town and stop by yesterday." Harry whispers when a coworker walks pass.

"Holy shit. What happened?" Zayn asks while leaning forward as his eyes grow wide.

"Well Niall got really fucking pissed and I found out in great detail what she did that hurt him so much. She's still trying to be his friend but we all know that's not going to happen." Harry explains as he shrugs his shoulders.

"It's funny you say that because I had ran into her last night at Five Guys." Zayn responds with Harry's eyes growing wide this time.

"What did she say to you and what did you say to her?" Harry questions, hoping she didn't corrupt his mind already with her bullshit.

"She basically ask what I've been up to and if I would talk to Niall about being friends with her. I told vague shit then book it out of there when she tried to get my number." Zayn replies just as Niall comes over to the two.

That puts Harry on edge because she is coming into both of their lives very consistently. From the looks of it, it does seem like she is plotting something other than just being friends with everyone. He wants to get down to the bottom of this now. He wants to stop her before she can accomplish her goal. He knows that he'll have to inform Liam and Louis about this as fast as possible before they end up running into her. He makes sure that the area is clear before he pulls out his phone and sends them a quick text about Katherine. They don't respond but he doesn't care. He puts his phone away right after then starts to get to work again.

"What were you two talking about?" Niall asks, leaning his elbows against the counter.

"If you don't want to get upset, then we can't tell you." Zayn answers, giving away what they were talking about.

"So it was about Katherine then?" Niall asks, lifting an eyebrow at them.

"Not at all. We were just talking about Harry crushing on that Damon guy. They had exchange phone numbers and everything. Our little man is finally going to find ever lasting love." Zayn jokes only to cause the blonde to visibly become tense.

"He's just messing around as usual." Harry states while shaking his head and waving Zayn off.

"Yeah. I know he only belongs to you." Zayn replies, which causes his friend to open his mouth but he cuts him off."I know you're straight. Lighten up."

"I just want to make sure that all my friends don't get hurt like I did because that shit really changes you." Niall says quietly then leaves the two to go work.

Before he left, Harry had seen the conflicted look in his eyes. He starts to wonder what can possibly be going on in his mind. Maybe be had a flashback that made him uncomfortable. Maybe he's still not back to normal from the manipulation. Maybe he has more personal stuff going on that he's not telling them. What if he stills love Katherine a bit? What if he wants to get back with her? All he can do now is pray that Niall won't do anything harmful to himself. He feels so helpless because he wants to get up and comfort him but he also feels he should give him his space to relax and think. They both spend the rest of their hours on clock doing work around the building while chatting with Zayn from time to time.
