I'm glad everyone is enjoying this book. Remember; you can't read this book without reading the first one. Also, if you think of a good title for this book, then let me know! The song above is just for something to occupy the silence while reading. :)
Chapter Two
Tears wouldn't stop falling, they were soaking the front of my shirt but I didn't care. I was more scared than anything. Now I was a single mother who didn't have any support. Everyone here would question my ever growing stomach and at the rate shifter pregnancies went they sure would have something to gossip about.
I replayed the memory of Edward telling me he doesn't love me again. I can just picture their house. Sheets covering the furniture, silence because it was completely empty of its inhabitants. I had a key to their house on my key ring, Not that I ever had to use it since their door was always open. And of course they never had to worry about theft since their house was in the middle of nowhere and also because they happen to be vampires with excellent hearing. I wonder if he took my key.
A key for a key.
It wasn't funny but it made me laugh. A strand of hair moved in front of my face. It was tinged with hints of purple, blue, red, and bits of black. My emotions were all over the place.
Instead of crying again I got up off the sofa and made my way upstairs. My calendar caught my attention. Next week I would be starting my senior year. Without Edward.
I sat on my bed, not knowing what to do. Everything seemed pointless.
A bag peeking out of the closet crossed my gaze and I latched onto it as an idea came to mind. There wasn't anything holding me to this town anymore.
I took my time deciding what to pack and the general direction I wanted to go. So far toiletries and away from here were high on my list so far.
The next day I locked up the house, threw my bags in the back, and left town. I passed the 'Thank you for visiting Spokane, come back soon!' sign in no time. I would be sure to do that.
I get to decide what to do with my life for the next few months and I was going to take advantage of that because once this kid is born, I will have to dedicate the next eighteen years to him or her. That thought alone almost made me turn around and hide under my bed, but I pushed through the feelings and focused on the road and my hands on the steering wheel.
One step at a time.
One more mile passing.
One more town going by.
This was my chance to figure out who I really was and I was going to take the proffered hand with a strong back.

I know it's somewhat short because its somewhat of a filler chapter but something you need to picture. You won't find a weak catatonic Bella anywhere in this story or any of my others! Vote, Comment, Tell a friend I'm here. I don't have a posting schedule so don't just comment Update. It just makes me not want to. Authors take their time to write and if you take the time to read you can take another few seconds to comment your thoughts on this or any other chapter.
