Chapter Eight
Edwards POV
She wasn't here.
I waited in the parking lot until the bell rang and she still hasn't shown up. All day I searched through people's thoughts, looking for her, thinking maybe she walked and came in through a different door.
Nothing.
Bella skipped her first day of senior year. This was the only way I would see her, I refused to go to her house to make sure she was okay.
Did someone call her, telling her I was here? Is that why she didn't come? I had my family on edge the whole day, waiting for me to crack. When I asked Alice she told me she could see everything. No blind spots. That meant no Bella.
This went on for a bout a week before I broke down. I brought Emmett with me when I went to her house.
I couldn't hear her heartbeat and her scent was faded, probably weeks old. It was two weeks ago that I broke it off with her.
Did she leave? Her car was gone, Windows locked. Nothing moved.
Bella was gone.
Emmett had to drive home since I was in a catatonic state. Where would she have gone?
