*Harry's POV*

This is wrong. All of this is so wrong. We shouldn't be doing this, and we both know it. I'm no fortune teller, but I have a feeling I've got a pretty good idea of what'll happen if we continue going this route.

"Allison." She looks up at me with those bright, wide eyes and I have to force myself to close my own eyes. "Dammit," I growl. "Don't do that. Don't look at me like that."

"I-I'm sorry." I can feel her recoiling. I take her hands in mine and try to contain my wild breathing. Jesus, this is going to be harder than I'm already anticipating it'll be.

"No, just...just listen for a second," I take a deep breath. "We can't...we can't do this. I already know how this is going to play out. I can already tell that as soon as you come to your senses, you're going to be regretting even kissing me."

"Harry, if this is because you don't want to-"

"Stop right there," I cut her off. "Because I swear to God if you were just about to say I'm stopping this because I don't want to make love to you, then you really have lost it." She tears her gaze away from mine, but I trap her chin in my hands and force her to regain contact. "I think that me wanting you is...quite apparent right now," She laughs, and all is right in the world again. I can't help the silly ass grin that forces its way onto my lips.

"I'm sorry," she apologizes. "I shouldn't have-"

I hold my finger up to her lips to stop her flow of words. "Shh. It takes two to tango, Allison."

"What am I going to tell Daniel?"

 And there's the guilt.

"You're not going to tell him anything. I'll tell him the truth." She looks at me like I've just told her I discovered other life on another planet. Absolutely incredulous.

"I can't let you do that. Like you said, two to tango, remember?"

"Allison, he already hates me," I point out. "I've got nothing to lose. You on the other hand, now that's a whole different story."

"Harry-"

"It's fine, honestly," her eyes begin to fill with tears. "Hey, I'll take care of it, okay?" She nods and I press one last kiss to her forehead. "Now, if you don't mind, I think I'll go take a cold shower."

Her skin warms and she's unable to look me right in the eye as she carefully removes herself from my embrace and walks back over to her bed.

I get up and head for the shower. With one last quick glance in her direction, I close the door behind me.
