This chapter is dedicated to @_shelbi @piopm and @marianalovesyou1 for being the only ones to give me advice on my new stories. Thank you so much and I hope you enjoy this chapter!!! xx
~Allison's POV~
It's been three days since all the Harry and Taylor drama. Harry hasn't tried to contact me since which makes me believe it's really over now. We're officially done.
"C'mon Alli. The girls and I are all going to the mall to get our hair and nails done for the wedding tomorrow. You should come with us." Perrie says, sitting down beside me on the couch.
"Yeah," El chips in, taking Daliah from my arms. "Plus, Savannah's parents are arriving today and I know you don't particularly like her mum. Instead of being stuck here with them, you should come have fun with us."
"I can't." I say. "Besides, who would watch the kids?"
"The boys are all staying here. They can watch them." Dani informs me. I keep making up excuses, but there really is no reason for me not to go.
"You needs to get out of this funk you're in. Your brother is getting married tomorrow! You should be excited!"
"I am." I say but it doesn't sound very convincing.
"Then act like it."
"Brooke, will you and your siblings be good for Uncle Liam?" I turn to my eldest daughter. She's currently sat at the coffee table, colouring in her colouring book.
"Of course!" she hops up on my lap, wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Are you sure?" I ask and she nods enthusiastically.
"Okay," I sigh. "Let me go get dressed."
~Harry's POV~
"Daddy," Jonathan looks up at me. "Are you okay?"
I snap out of my thoughts, smiling down at my son. I pick him up and sit him down on my lap.
"I'm fine." I say and try to make it sound convincing. I've been saying it over and over for the past three days, hoping it'll begin to sound convincing, but so far there's been zero progress.
~Flashback~
"Higher, Daddy, higher!" Brooklyn squeals.
"Are you sure?" I ask, laughing and she nods her head. "Okay. But remember, you asked for it." I say and push her higher, the sound ofher sweet, angelic laugh filling my ears.
"Daddy, will you tell us a story?" Daliah asks as I tuck each of them in bed.
"Sure, sweetie." I answer. "Which one do you want to hear?"
"The one about the prince and the princess." Brooklyn chimes in. I smile, remembering when I first told her the story of Allison and I.
"What's the prince and princess story?" Daliah asks, an excited expression on her adorably chubby face.
"I'm about to tell you." I say and begin the story. Daliah listens intently eyes bright with excitement and wonder.
"Daddy, will I ever find my prince?" she asks after I've finished.
"Mmhmm." I answer and kiss her forehead. She yawns, a sign of her exhaustion. "Go to sleep now, baby girls."
Nick has been asleep this entire time. I took him to the park earlier and played with him literally all day. Since then, he's been absolutely exhausted.
"Night, Daddy." Daliah yawns nd I smile, backing out of their bedroom. I glance at them all one more time before leaving, making sure to keep the door slightly ajar.
