Zabuza

A couple more days of endless training went by before I began to get a bad feeling. I woke up in the morning and looked around the room. Sakura was missing. Searching for anyone's chakra, I only felt Naruto's in the house. Jumping out of bed, I arrived down the bottom of the stairs in time to see Naruto poking his head round the wall.
"Hey, where is everyone?" He asked.
"Ah, Naruto. You're sensei said you should rest for today." Tsunami's voice replied. "You and Tsukiko worked hard yesterday so he said you too should take it easy." Naruto dashed up the stairs past me and ran into his room. He was going after them.... Deciding to follow his lead, I went into my room and got changed, making it back outside before Naruto.

On the way to the bridge, we went past a boar that had been cut up. We both noticed it and turned back around towards Tsunami and Inari's house. Something was going on back there. We made it in time to see Inari charging towards two men with katanas. Tsunami was on the floor and they were about the cut Inari. Naruto bounded forward and grabbed Inari, using the substitution jutsu before they could cut him. I followed behind and flung myself forward, kicking both of them in the chests so they stumbled backwards. Grabbing hold of Tsunami, I pulled her away to where Naruto stood holding onto Inari. Lying her down on the floor, I stood up and faced the imbeciles who dared try to kill the kid.
"Sorry for being late." Naruto apologised grinning. "But, heroes are supposed to come late."
"Naruto nii-chan! Tsukiko nee-chan!" Inari gasped surprised to see us.
"Inari, well done." Naruto praised the boy after setting him down. "We were able to save your mum because you got their attention.
"How did you find out that the samurais were here?" Inari wondered.
"Huh? We saw a wild boar that was sliced up in the forest. I also saw katana marks in the trees. The traces led back to your house so we got worried." He explained.
"You're just the incompetent ninjas that Tazuna hired." The tallest and most muscular one said. I'll call him Tribal due to his tattoos. Creepy, his accomplice, smirked and grabbed hold of his katana.
"Let's kill them." They both charged towards us so I flew at them and did a flip so I landed behind them both. Grabbing hold of their shoulders, I pulled them backwards causing them to lose their balance. Using their loss of balance, I spun and kicked Creepy into Tribal causing them to clash into one another and black out. Ha! Weaklings! They both fell to the floor causing me to chuckle and Naruto to pout.
"Ah! You could've let me kick their butts!" Naruto complained. Poking my tongue out, I ignored him and left Inari and Naruto to talk.

Once Naruto was done comforting Inari, we headed off towards the bridge. When we arrived at the bridge, we saw it was covered in mist and so it was hard to see through it. However, I could sense that Sasuke was injured, Tazuna was being covered by Sakura, and Kakashi was going up against Zabuza. However, there was one lot of chakra that I did not recognise. Who was that? Leaping down from a nearby tree, we landed near Sasuke in a burst of smoke.
"Uzumaki Naruto is here!" He announced proudly. Looking around, I met Kakashi's eyes and he was warning me to stay away from Zabuza. "Now that I'm here, everything's going to be just fine. The main character of a story like this usually appears like this and defeats the enemy in a flash. Ok, let's do this! Kage Bunshin...." Before he could finish, he had shuriken come flying towards him.
"Dodge it, Naruto!" Kakashi called out alarmed. However, the masked guy threw senbon needles at them causing them to stop spinning and drop to the ground before they could hit Naruto. "Hey, what kind of idiot tries to use a jutsu in front of the enemy? A ninja's essence lies within deception." He gave a big speech to Naruto who clutched his head in despair.
"I only came here to help!" He whined.
"Haku? What's the meaning of this?" Zabuza demanded.
"Zabuza-san. Leave him to me." The boy with black hair and a mask spoke up. "Please let me do this fight my way."

They continued to talk while I stood bored next to Sakura. She smiled at me grateful for the help when Haku walked into the glass mirrors surrounding Sasuke. Senbon needles were thrown continuously at Sasuke as he stayed in the middle, causing him to let a pained cry. Sakura and Naruto let out a shout alarmed upon hearing the pain in Sasuke's voice. Suddenly Naruto decided to jump into the ring of mirrors to save Sasuke. Idiot. They began shouting at each other before they shut up. Fire was used by Sasuke to try to burn the ice mirrors however it was to no avail. They didn't melt at all. The whole place lit up and I saw Haku about to throw more senbon needles. Leaping into the mirrors, I blocked as many needles as I could but they both still were hit and sent backwards by some of them.
"Tsukiko?" They both shouted surprised.
"There's no point trying to follow me with your eyes." Haku spoke up as Naruto tried to pinpoint which one was him.
"Kage bunshin no Jutsu!" Naruto called out casting replications of himself. "Then, I'll destroy all of the mirrors and see which one is real." The copies jumped up and a blur was seen as Haku went from one mirror to the next, taking out multiple copies as he did so before they all disappeared in a burst of smoke. Naruto fell backwards so I rushed forwards to catch him. He landed in my arms causing us both to crash to the floor with me beneath him. Letting out a groan, I felt my head hurt from where my head had hit the floor. Blood Limit Technique. This was a talent that was passed down through the genes so only people in that clan or bloodline could perform the Jutsu. "Damn it.... So what?" Naruto ground out. "I can't die here. I still have a dream I need to achieve. The dream to make the villagers recognise me and become the Hokage!"
"If it's possible I do not want to kill you, and I do not want to make you kill me." Haku confessed. So he didn't like to kill the innocents either. However, if you are going to fight me then I will kill my compassion with a blade and become a ninja." He continued to speak of how he wished to protect those he cared for and serve Zabuza well. This made my heart ache a little seeing how much he cared for Zabuza.

Naruto sent out wave after wave of copies only to see them get destroyed. Sasuke and I were trying to pinpoint which one was truly Haku in the mirrors. But it was hard. Haku came out of the mirrors once again and cut through the copies, Naruto, Sasuke and I. They both let out a shout of pain while I stayed quiet and all three of us fell the floor. They lay on the floor while I was on my knees holding onto my forearm. We continued our technique of Naruto sending copies while Sasuke and I tried to follow his movement. We managed to get it so Sasuke used his fire technique to sent fire at him while I used wind to cut into his clothes.

As we got closer to figuring it out, all three of us had senbon needles thrown at us causing us all to let out cries of pain and fall to the floor. They hurt like hell! At the same time we heard a female scream from outside the mirrors. Sakura! What was going on? Naruto stood up and pulled the needles out then a burst of blue chakra came from within him as he began to dart around trying to beat Haku. He was trying to get out of here. However more senbon needles were thrown at him causing him to collapse to the floor and stay there. As Haku threw more and more needles at us, Sasuke and I began to deflect them using one of the needles that had been stuck in us. Haku seemed surprised by our actions and no matter how much Sasuke complained, Naruto did not move.

Deciding to take it upon myself, I made clones of myself and we all began to use wind to try to cut through the mirrors. However it was to no avail. Haku leaped out of the mirrors and cut through the clones before stabbing a kunai into my stomach.
"Tsukiko!" Sasuke shouted. Landing away from them both, I groaned and got back up. Yanking the kunai out, I held a hand over my bleeding stomach. What was it about my stomach that made people want to stab it?! Haku was now back in his mirrors and about to aim lots of needles at Naruto. Both Sasuke and I lunged towards Naruto hoping to make it in time. While I made my way towards them, I aimed more wind at Haku as he was now more obvious about his positioning. I heard hiss as he took the hits and fell from the mirror he tried hiding in. Getting there after Sasuke, I took the hits from the needles. My arms were spread wide as I stood in front of them both. "Tsukiko? Why?" Sasuke gaped as he defended Naruto from the needles that I hadn't managed to take.
"You're my..... team..... I care..... about you guys." I murmured out. Dropping to my knees in time to see Naruto wake up. I smiled softly at them before coughing up blood.
"Tsukiko?" Naruto gasped, catching me before I fell to the floor. Landing in his arms, he held my head in his lap. Sasuke collapsed on top of me so his head was on my stomach. He blacked out first before I felt myself getting drowsy. Before I blacked out, I saw steam rising from around us and a large amount of red chakra began to surround Naruto. The nine-tails chakra!
"No, Naruto." I gasped out. Unfortunately he didn't hear me as suddenly he lunged towards Haku with a growl.

I began to stir not long after and glanced over to see Kakashi's hand sticking through Haku's chest. Sakura was crying over Sasuke and so I crawled over. He was still alive, just lost a lot of blood and chakra.
"Tsukiko?" Sakura whispered, her eyes wide and teary. Not saying anything, I got closer to Sasuke and focused my chakra into my hands. Holding them over his chest, I pushed my chakra into him causing his pale body to become like it had been. His chest could be seen rising and falling properly now. "How did you......" She stopped when she saw me cough up more blood, but only before collapsing again with a satisfied smile on my face. I was glad that I could rescue a teammate, even if that meant I didn't get through it. Sorry daddy.........

Sorry guys, I had no idea what to write and my days been rather..... emotional so this is all I could come up with aha, hope you liked it anyway. Next chapter should be coming soon as long as I get enough time to sit down and focus. I have my theory test this Saturday so I'm dreading it haha. Peace guys! :') x
