After two long days of traveling and listening to the girls giggling and gossiping and the boys complaining about the girls, we were finally back in Konoha. Stepping back through the gates, I felt both at warm and slightly lost. The two I left with were no longer returning here and it saddened me, but I knew that if I dwelled on it too much, then Talia's ghost might come back and kick me. That's the kind of girl she had been during the three years that I'd known her. Gareth had seemed like it as well but now I was no longer sure.......
"Tsukiko!" A male voice shouted before I was tackled to the floor. Hearing a bark, I looked up to see Kiba hanging over me while Akamaru stood to the side with his tongue hanging out of his jaw happily. The rest all scattered and headed off in different directions. Some towards the Hokage's office and some to other places. They were leaving me with him. "You're back. Are you ok? Are you still hurt? I heard what happened and I swear I'll kill the people who hurt you." He growled out the ending while his voice and eyes showed his worry and panic. He was about to begin rambling again but I put my hand behind his head and pulled him down so his lips met mine. I needed this. I needed the warmth he gave me, both on the inside and outside. My trick seemed to work as he instantly kissed back, his tongue battling with mine for dominance. My mind went blank as I kissed the boy I cared for greatly, and I found myself forgetting everything around or that happened to me. My thoughts were only filled with him.

A cough off to the side caught us both off guard and caused us to pull apart. My arms stayed around his neck while I looked up at the male standing beside us. Kakashi? He was out of the hospital and ok? I could see him glaring at Kiba for that scene he'd just had to see, but then his eye switched to me concerned.
"Papa....." I whispered out. Kiba pulled back and jumped, lending me a hand to help me up. Sending him a thankful smile, I moved to stand in front of Kakashi who then pulled me into a hug. I seemed to be getting a lot of hugs lately.......
"I'm glad you're back safe. I heard what happened but couldn't help....." He frowned, running a hand through my hair.
"It's fine papa. Besides, I can take care of myself." I smirked, pulling away.
"I know you can, but Naruto was right. You're reckless and always end up in hospitals." He chuckled. Upon his words, I felt myself pouting when I realised how right his words were. I always seemed to end up in a hospital...... "The Hokage wants to see you now that you're back." He informed me, gesturing for me to go with a smile that I could behind his mask and in his eyes. Turning around to leave, Kiba was about to follow me but Kakashi stepped between us. "I need to talk with you." He said sternly, looking straight at Kiba who seemed to become a little worried for his life. Chuckling quietly to myself, I whistled to Akamaru who happily trotted by my side. Seeing his companion leave him, Kiba gaped but smiled again when I winked at him and mouthed him good luck.

Arriving at the Hokage's office, I knocked on the door politely before entering and seeing Tsunade with her well known companion and apprentice Shizune. Shizune was a fair-skinned woman of average height and slender build with black eyes and hair. Her hair was straight and shoulder-length with bangs that covered her ears and framed her face. Shizune wore a long bluish-black kimono with white trimmings, held closed by a white obi, and open-toed sandals with low heels. When she looked up and saw me with Akamaru, she seemed rather surprised but didn't question it. Instead she scanned over my body, seeming to be scanning me for anymore wounds that she hadn't heard of.
"You've returned then. How was the mission?" She asked, sounding professional.
"You already know how it went." I laughed bitterly. "We did the job and I found out their true intentions in the end. That's how it went." She glared at my behaviour but still said nothing, only sympathy was seen in her eyes. She understood how I felt. After all, she had used to be teammates and friends with Orochimaru. I remember, my mother had told me of her and her teammates. The three legendary Sannin were now known as Tsunade-sama the Hokage, Pervy Jiraiya teacher of Naruto, and our enemy Orochimaru.
"You're right. The Kazekage, Gaara, sent me a letter informing me of how things went down. It was hard for you to go through that I know, but you did so well and came out stronger at the end, did you not?" She sighed, her voice encouraging and determined.
"I did. Talia's sacrifice will not be wasted. I plan to serve Konoha to the best of my ability, and make sure my friend Naruto gets the position as Hokage." I smirked, crossing my arms across my chest. Tsunade smirked in reply, seeming pleased with my response and I saw in her eyes that she too supported Naruto's dream of being a Hokage.
"Excellent. I look forward to seeing that then." She chuckled. "You may leave."
"Oh, one thing actually. I want to move into my old flat. Could I have the key? I don't want to live in that house anymore." I asked, my mood dropping before thinking of the Inuzuka boy who was waiting for us. Tsunade nodded in understanding and searched through her desk drawers before pulling something out and chucking it over to me.
"I thought you'd be wanting the flat back. All of your stuff has been moved into it so don't worry." She smiled tenderly which surprised me as I hadn't received that smile before from her. Bowing respectfully, I smiled in return and turned to leave. Shizune waved to me as I left and instantly I turned to Akamaru, telling to sniff out his companion. With a happy bark, he sniffed at the air and took off at a sprint towards the smell with me following close behind.
