The Chunin exams were coming up and I was becoming excited. My father had told me that he had already given the entry slips to the other three and so I was looking forward to us all turning up. Annoyingly, after the incident between Kiba and I, every time we saw each other, we would both become embarrassed and it would end up with me walking away. Like right this moment, Kiba was walking up to me determinedly. Just as I was about to run away, he lunged forward and grabbed my wrist.
"What do you want?" I demanded, sounding a little more hostile than I was meant to.
"Look, I'm sorry ok? I didn't mean to um.... kiss you. It was an accident. Can we be friends?" He grumbled. Akamaru was watching us both happily, his eyes going back and forth between us. Sighing, I bent down and stroked Akamaru. Glancing up at Kiba, I smiled and nodded.
"I'm sorry too. It's just that that was my first kiss." I confessed. He grinned and rubbed the back of his neck.
"Ah well...... Yeah.... I'm sorry." Giggling, I stood back up and offered my hand out. He looked confused but took my hand anyway. Shaking our hands, I began our introductions again.
"Let's start from the beginning. My name is Hatake Tsukiko. It's a pleasure to meet you." I beamed.
"Inuzuka Kiba. Nice to meet you." He laughed, going along with it. Glad that awkwardness was over. Now I had another friend!

Back at home, I was gathering all of my stuff when I felt someone's presence near me. Turning, I saw Kakashi standing there with some hyper looking guy. He was a tall and well-built man with high cheek-bones, thick eyebrows and black hair cut in a bowl style. He wore a green jumpsuit, orange striped leg warmers and the standard Konoha flak jacket which was undone to reveal the jumpsuit. Once he saw me, his eyes lit up and he lunged towards me, picking me up in a bone crushing hug.
"So this is my opponents daughter! How beautiful! She radiates youth!" He exclaimed, a large smile on his face and tears gathering at the corners of his eyes.
"Tsukiko, this is Might Guy." My father introduced us both with a sigh. The one who always challenged him?
"It's nice to meet you." I smiled, returning the hug. He was friendly so I didn't want to reject him. Also, he seemed like a good friend to Kakashi so that was enough for me to like him.
"Call me Uncle or Uncle Guy from now on, ok?" He cried, setting me down on the floor and ruffling my hair. Nodding, I smoothed my hair out and rose an eyebrow at the strange man. He seemed amusing.
"Papa, don't we have to meet the others today?" I asked, peering around Uncle Guy. I had gotten used to calling Kakashi papa, dad or father and each time it seemed to effect him as he'd look shocked before smiling happily at me.
"Yes we do. Guy, we have to go now, were already late." Kakashi informed his friend with a closed eyed smile.
"I understand. It's about the Chunin Exams right? I have to tell my youthful team about it as well." Guy beamed, his face showing his pride in his team. "I'll be off then! Goodbye rival and lovely youth!" He called as he ran weirdly out of the house. Giggling, I turned to catch Kakashi watching me with a grin. Giving him a confused look, he only shook his head before gesturing for us to go.

We had to meet the rest of the team at the bridge which had become our meeting point lately. By the time we got to the bridge, our teammates looked to be tired and irritated.
"Good morning. Hello everybody." Kakashi greeted with a wave from his position on top of one of the arches. "Today I got lost......" He started before he was interrupted by Sakura and Naruto scolding him for being late. Strolling up behind Sasuke, I tapped him on the shoulder and gave a little wave with a smile. He smirked at me in return when I was tackled by Naruto in a hug.
"Hi Tsuki, are you ok?" He asked concerned. Nodding in reply, he grinned satisfied before turning to Kakashi. "Hey, hey, Kakashi-sensei! We, the 7th squad, have only been doing easy missions, right? Isn't there a mission where I can play an active role, and something that's more...... exciting? Something that makes my 'way of the monk's you know, and my heart you know, like this?" He asked, his eyes practically on fire in excitement.
"Oh, I see. I see. I see what you're trying to get at." Kakashi retorted, stepping back a bit with his hands up. Naruto suddenly spun round to face Sasuke with a look of annoyance on his face. Yup. They definitely had a rivalry between them. "Hey, Naruto! What are you doing? We have a mission to complete!"

Our mission that day was weed picking and Naruto seemed to get carried away as he not only pulled out the weeds, but the actual herbs as well. His rivalry was getting in the way of his thoughts. More missions occurred that day like collecting the dump out of the river where Naruto almost fell to his death down a waterfall. Next was dog walking where he was dragged along by the biggest dog we had into a mine field. The teamwork was out of order lately, especially between Sasuke and Naruto. Naruto was focused on beating Sasuke while Sasuke was obsessed with revenge.

The next day came quickly and we were all on the bridge again. Kakashi was carrying four letters with him which excited me. They were recommendations for the Chunin Exams! Finally! Meeting up with the others, I saw that Sakura seemed to have less confidence than usual, although her temper was still the same.
"I recommended all of you to the Chunin selection exam, so..... here take these applications." He explained, holding them out. Taking one each, we all stared at the paper. "You can decide if you want to take it or not."
"Yes! Kakashi-sensei I love you!" Naruto exclaimed lunging at Kakashi and hugging him round the neck. He let go of Kakashi afterwards with a grin on his face. "Only those who wish to take it are to sign the applications, and..... five days after that, go to school at 3p.m. and go to room 301. That is all." Kakashi disappeared after threading the four of us alone as we wandered off. Naruto was laughing to himself while Sasuke had a determined look on his face. Sakura however looked quite unconfident. Grabbing hold of Sakura's hand, I pulled her back and waved in the boys.
"Sakura, what's wrong?" I asked worriedly. She sighed and put on a small smile.
"Nothing. Just nerves." She lied. Frowning, I didn't believe her for a second. She was doubting herself wasn't she?
"Sakura don't worry, we'll do great. You're amazing and smart so we will all be fine together as long as we work as a team." I grinned, holding her hands and giving them a little squeeze. Her eyes brightened slightly and she hugged me.
"Thank you Tsukiko. I needed that." She breathed out, hugging me for a bit longer before running off home claiming she had something to do.

Wandering around in town, I spotted Hinata along with Kiba and Shino they're other teammate. He was great with bugs which creeped me out a little, but he was a nice guy.
"Hey Tsukiko!" Kiba grinned, waving me over. Running over to them, I stopped next to Hinata and beamed.
"Hey guys." I greeted them all. Shino nodded in greeting while Hinata smiled at me.
"Did you get.....a.... rec..... recommendation to the..... Chunin exam?" Hinata stuttered cutely.
"Of course. We're all ready to go, hopefully." I added at the end, my thoughts going to Sakura. "I take it you guys did as well."
"We're the best, it's only natural for us to be recommended." Kiba stated proudly, Akamaru letting out a bark of agreement from his position on Kiba's nodded head. Chuckling to myself, I rolled my eyes at his big ego. After that whole accident, Kiba and I had become great friends and we often hung out, along with Naruto.
"Do you feel confident about taking these tests?" Shino spoke up from behind his jacket which covered the lower half of his face.
"Yeah. I mean....... I'm a big worried about my team, but I think we'll do just fine." I smiled softly, my voice a big timid.
"You'll do great Tsukiko." Hinata encouraged quietly from beside me. Smiling gratefully at her, a stomach growled which caused us both to laugh. Kiba's cheeks flushed in embarrassment and he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"Who wants BBQ for lunch?" I laughed. Kiba's and Akamaru's eyes lit up while Hinata giggled and Shino shrugged nonchalantly. "Race ya." With that, I took off in the direction of the BBQ place, hearing a groan from Kiba and a muffled giggle from Hinata. All three of their footsteps could be soon heard following after me as we raced towards our destination. I loved being in Konoha. I hoped nothing changed......
