"Hello, Clark. May I come in?"
A lady with a very dominant aura and a weird sense of fashion stood at the door smiling. She stepped inside the office closing the door behind her.

"Oh, Mary. Come in, come in. It's so good to see you." Clark stood up from his seat walking toward her with open arms and a wide smile.

As both siblings embraced in a tight hug they realized how much both of them have missed each other in all these years.

Separating himself Clark dragged a chair back as Mary took her seat with as grace as a queen would and he moved back to his office chair behind the table.

Mary took in the office which has changed very slightly from her childhood memories and for some reason it pleased her. Though the broken windows did take her attention making her frown ever so lightly.

Clark noticed the small smile and then the following frown on her sister's face and as the nostalgia hit him too, he couldn't help but share the smile.

"How is everything going with you? How are you doing?" Clark asked just for formality though he had some slight hint of what's actually happening in his sister's life. But she likes to keep her secrecy and he respects that.

Mary looked at him before facing him properly.
"Nothing new or exciting if you wanted some spice but yes I have been doing fairly well and so does the *Domus.

Both of your nephews are also doing excellently well and if I am not mistaken then you must have heard of or met one of them. He is currently in the werewolf king's court as a minister."

Clark indeed knew about him, but unfortunately, he didn't get the opportunity to meet him.

"You know after Zeus's passing, my children were the only people I was living for and if it weren't for them, I would have..."

She took a deep breath as if even conversing about the said times is causing her great suffering.
"Truthfully I don't know but leave all that stuff in the past where it belongs and tell me about yours. How is your life going as an Alpha? I see a lot of changes and they are surprisingly nice, no offence."

"None was taken, I get what you mean. I am not the same Clark as you remember when you left. Even though it all has been the result of many trials and errors. A lot of missteps and blunders but thankfully none big enough to destroy us all."
Mary nodded to that, feeling proud of his brother for what he is now. She knows their parents would be proud too.

"Your beta told me to come in hurry saying the pack is in rough times but didn't exactly explain anything. So, what came about that you called me so urgently?"

A very heavy sigh escaped Clark's lips as he tried to get rid of this load from his shoulders before telling anything but a frown told him that it didn't work at all. Mary picked on the distress of her brother.

"Rex said right. Come, I'll explain on the way. " both stood up from their seats walking outside of the room. Clark began to explain the details of what transpired in the last couple of days and as he continued on it was becoming obvious how troubled he was with everything.

As both brother and sister emerged from the house in the backyard, Clark told her about almost everything, though skipping some stuff here and there that included him punching his son.

Four wolves came out of the forest with a beaten and unconscious Kyle on their back.
Mary gasped in surprise seeing her nephew's condition.
Reaching near them the wolves bowed as Clark and Mary drew closer to Kyle's battered form.
