The most awaited day arrived. We slept in the palace along with the Royal family's guest.
Last night we shared dinner with the Royal Family woth the other guests, Royal Families from all over the world. Being the granddaughter of an Earl hasn't sinked to me yet, and being with majority of all the royals here is not doing me any better.
I hadn't have time to talk with Prince Louie last night, just simple greetings and smiles from here and there. There are a lot of people surrounding him and more girls than ever, the princesses, of course!, but he never failed to take a glimpse of me, maybe checking if I'm still okay.
I had a short talk with the Queen expressed her happiness that I agreed to be the Prince special guest, she knows how hard it could be. She has been the King's guest when the king turned 21.
She said, "It's going to be hard for you from the moment they know that you'll be the prince's guest Cassey, but I hope that you'll be able to live past it and just enjoy each other's company. Don't mind what the others are saying. I know that the past few weeks had been hard for you at the camp, and that's not even the slightest attention you could get in the future. Just be strong, I am always here if you need anything."
After dinner, I went straight to the room they gave us. I don't want to answer more questions about where did I meet the prince?, are we close?, are we together?, and how long have we have been together questions, I've had enough of popularity today. I just want peace and to think about what the Queen told me. Did she also think that I and Louie are going out together? How did she know about the camp? She only went there on the first day. Is it possible that they are talking about us? Checking me in camp?
Someone's knocking on my door, maybe its mamu just checking on the last details for later.
I opened the door "Hi!" Calix was there leaning the door frame.
"Hi! What are you doing here so early?"
He cleared his throat and said "Prince's bestfriend for duty, Lady."
I laughed "Stop it", I said.
"Calix called unto me to check on you. We'll be having breakfast in a while, and he's busy so he can't go here. He was worried about you so he called me to accompany you this morning."
"There's nothing to worry about, I'm fine. Thank you."
"Well ,you better dress up quickly so you can catch up fpr breakfast."
"This early?"
"Yes, so chop! chop! I'll be waiting for you downstairs."
"Okay, I'll get ready."
Psh. Talk about breakfast.
I went it for a quick shower to make it on time for breakfast. When I went out from the bathroom I saw my dress prepared, maybe mamu came in from the connecting door.

I dressed quickly and went downstairs.
My mom will fly in today for the Prince's birthday along with my dad, this is the first time we'll see each other after the secret has been revealed to me, I don't know what we will be. "Just relax and take your time accepting this, Cassey. You could still have the life you choose to have, whatever you want my child, its always your choice. Your parents gave you the greatest gift they could give you, by giving you freedom to choose what you want to be, so don't be hard on them." Mamu said to me.
"You prep up pretty quick!" Calix greeted me. He's at the base of the stairs waiting.
"You said breakfast, what else prolong?'
He smiled and offered his hand.
"We better hurry to get the best seat in the house."
We entered the banquet hall and I heard some buzzing. I spotted Mamu and Papai at the end of the hall, across the royal family's table.
I kissed them both on their cheek. "I want to wait for you but your papai insisted that we go down first, we bumped to Calix, and he offered to wait for you."
"No problem mamu." I smiled at her, and sat beside the empty chair beside her.
She leaned to me. "Looks like you made quite a buzz."
"I've been rising to fame quite fast lately." I said, and we shared a laugh.
After a few minutes the Royal family arrived. Louie's eyes was searching the room and stopped to me.
I mouthed the words "Happy Birthday" to him, and he did the same saying "thank you".
They continued to walk until they reaxh the table and ket everyone sit.
Breakfast was served.
Calix was right about the best seat, our table was the first one to be served after the royal family.
Just before they are about to leave, the Prince approached our table along with the Queen and King. They greeted everyone in the table. Louie walked to my seat.
"I'm sorry about last night, I didn't expect too many company."
"It's okay, don't worry about me."
"Calix, thanks for taking over."
"No problem Louie, anytime."
"Looks like we have to go. See you later."
Louie leaned to me. "May I take you an hour before the party starts?"
"Sure"
"I'll be picking you up at your room."
"Okay." They left our table and made a few stops before they exit.
I noticed Calix to be a little quiet. Could he have heard Louie?
"Want to take a walk?" Calix asked.
"Sure."
"Lord Victor, Lady Mindy. Is it okay if we go take a walk?"
"Sure, take her away from here for a while." Mamu said, jokingly.
"It would matter even if for a long time." Calix said.
"Calix, rember that the grandfather is here." Papai said, jokingly.
"You don't have to be strict Victor, Cassey needs her time away from popularity." Mamu winked to me. "Go now, children, before someone makes another comment."
"We'll be back by lunchtime" Calix said.
"Go, go.. " mamu said.
"Bring her back, Calix" Papai said.
"Yes, sir."
I kissed them both on cheek.
