The week passed without Prince Louie. He didn't go to the camp.

Ms. Waters said that the prince is busy because he had to attend to some matters. He would probably visit the camp when classes starts.

Although there's no sighting of the prince for the whole week, the camp has been fun. Calix was almost there everyday, taking the place of the prince for the mean time.

Whenever he's free, he goes to the camp to help us prepare. He said that he can help us while the prince has some urgent things to do.

He told us to not be so formal when we are on the camp and just call him Calix rather than Lord Calix, he just likes it that way.

I called him Lord Calix, one time, in one of our conversations. He then, made his hand look like a gun and shot me!

He said if I ever call him lord again he would never forgive me and would ask the prince to bring me back to New York, never to return again.

One day, I was tasked to look at the children while they are playing at the camp's park. Calix joined me.

"Oh Hi! Lo- Uhm. I mean Calix" I said

"Well you learn quite fast Miss Wiltkin." He said teasingly.

"Well I better be, or else I might get exiled from this beautiful place, sir!" I said in a guard like voice.

We laughed.

"Should you be that obvious?" Calix asked.

"Of what?" I said curiously.

"Being excited with the coming of the prince and all"

"Of course I am! I mean, not because I have a crush on him or anything but its..."

"Ha! So you do have a crush on Louie!" He said, grinning

"No, I don't!" I said.

"But you just said it! You have a crush on Louie! So.... should I introduce you to him? Maybe you need a back up!" He said teasingly.

"No, what I meant was I was not looking for him because I have a crush on him but because, of course, he's the prince." defending myself. I hope he wouldn't be able to tell that Im lying, or it would be harder to face the prince with him chuckling from behind.

"Oh well fine, it doesn't matter. You won't tell anyway." He said.

"Because I dont!" I exclaimed.

"So are you close with the prince?" I asked.

"Yeah, we had been friends since were kids." He said.

"So, why is he so busy that he can't come here to visit? Isn't this kind of his job? Like every summer?"

"Well well well. look who is not interested" He said.

"Im just asking" I said, making my eyes big and raising my eyebrow.

"Fine, if thats what you say. Well, its because he's going to turn 21 in a few weeks and he has to do more stuff than before. He now have summer classes for his training to be the next king." Calix explained.

"Isn't that a bit early? I mean, he's only 20 and the king, his father hadn't even been our king until he turned, what, 35?." I said questioningly.

"Thats how it goes for the royals. You have to learn a lot of things way way before you'll become king. You're going to rule hundreds of thousands of people in your lifetime so you better be prepared when you're at it. The life of your people will be in your hand."

"But don't worry! He will have time for you, he should! or else!. Ha-ha!" he said, grinning.

"or else what?" I asked.

"Nothing, Nevermind. Lets go back to business now. You should watch the kids, remember?" He said.

"I am!" I lied, I already forgot about watching the children. I was already dreaming about Prince Louie.

Calix stayed and played with the children. He does that everytime he goes at camp. He seems to be fond of them considering the time he spends with them.
