We had a dinner buffet tonight. Usually, we only have buffet dinner during fridays, but since the prince arrived, this monday has become a welcome party for him.
Every weekend we can go home to our family, but every weekdays, we should be sleeping at the cabin they have assigned us.
We have a 10 pm curfew every monday to thursday while, 12 pm curfew every friday.
The children's curfew would be an hour earlier than us.
I haven't been able to talk with the prince since he arrived. There are a lot of volunteers whose too eager to talk to him, so I just returned to my room to rest.
I was assigned in a room with Chloe, Diane, Margo, Cielo and Rebecca. They all live in Pelipia except for Margo who lives in England.
Chloe and Diane is with me in the scheduling department. While, Margo, Cielo and Rebecca are in charge of the recreational classes that the children could take, like fencing, piano lessons, hiking, archery, dancing, singing, drawing horseback riding and of course, farming.
There are also respective instructors asssigned for each recreational activity.
There is a total of less than 200 staffs and instructors. I didnt expect it to be this huge, but I guess this is how they keep this camp organized.
Every class has a maximum of 30 students, there are morning and afternoon classes. Those who got afternoon classes would have to take the recreational classes in the morning, while those in morning classes will take the afternoon recreational classes.
In the camp aside from the instructors and staffs, we have cooks, who cooks great food! I dont want to miss a single meal in the camp because of them. Nutritionists, who keeps track of the meals prepared. And Medics , in case of emergencies, they also teach the children first aids and what to do in different kinds of situation.
"Hey Cass!" said Chloe
"Hey! Where's Diane?"
"Oh, she's with the others checking the children in their cabins. When are you assigned to check the cabins?" Chloe asked
"Wednesdays. you?"
"Same!" said Chloe
"That's great! Have you seen our roommates?"
"No, but I know one of them, Cielo. She's from the town of Yule. I've met her here last year."
"Oh! I see. That's nice!"
"It gets pretty crazy around here when the prince is around, right?" said Chloe
"Yeah! totally! last week was pretty much far from what the camp looks like now. Every girl looks like they're all dreaming and the guys looks like their going in for a fight! Ha-ha" I said.
" I knooow! My boyfriend, Tom, hesitated when I said I'll join the camp again this year because he thought ill be swarming over the prince again!"
"Hahahaha! its actually a though job swarming over the prince amidst dozens of girls around."
"I know! but it will settle in time. Don't worry. Anyway, Do you have a boy back home?" Chloe asked.
"No, I don't really date." I said.
"Why?"
"Well, its just not my thing. I think I'm pretty much busy myself to go out with others. I have my friends, though!"
"Oh! that suprised me! Any of these friends nearing to be...? Chloe asked teasingly.
"Absolutely none! I have few friends. 3, actually. They've been my buddies since we've moved in New York. We always hang out at my mom's shop. I'm totally not a social person."
"I can see that. But it looks like you've found a friend in Lord Calix, don't you?" Chloe said smiling and raising her eyebrows.
"Oh yeah! He's a pretty good guy. He helped me a lot last week." I know there's something behind Chloe's expression so I avoided it. Better be like this than having an awkward feeling when with Calix.
"Guessed he really would." Chloe said still with the smile.
"Hey guys!" Diane said as she entered.
"Hey! How did the checking go?" Chloe asked.
"Never easy! like every start of the camp."
"Oh that's fine. It would be for the first couple of days only" Chloe said.
"Nah. I don't think that would be the case this year. The prince is turning 21 in a month, so that means that the search for the future princess is on." Diane said.
"Oh yeah right! Tatiana would be back for sure!" rolling her eyes.
I was about to ask who Tatiana is when...
"Ohhh. Im so tired. Lets sleep you guys! We'll be early tomorrow. Besides, the other girls won't be here to tonight. They'll have to prepare for tomorrow so they're going to sleep at the base. Goodnight Chloe, nighy Cassey!"
"Goodnight!"
"Goodnight!"
He has to find his princess, so that's why the prince has been busy. Aside from fulfilling the role of a King, of course he has to have his family and secure the lineage for the throne. And who is this Tatiana, anyway?
Yyyyaaawwwnnn. Oh I'm sure that Im gonna meet him anyway. I dont have to be a fly and buzz up around him. There will come a time for a meeting, Ill should take... a... rest...now...
