The language class officially starts today, and that means....
PRINCE LOUIE IS COMING!!!!!!
We were called early by Ms. Waters for a briefing.
"Good morning everyone! Classes will officially start today. The queen and the prince is on their way here to check the facilities, classrooms and everything that we prepared for the children. For the staffs, you will be the one assisting the arrival of the queen and the prince. Make sure to be ready to whatever question they might ask. Prepare every document and statistics that might be asked, and make sure to deliver it promptly because we dont have time for delays."
"For the intructors, I hope you were all informed about your room assignment, schedule and are given the list of students for your class. For questions, you may ask Mrs. Kendar, me or any of the staffs. Goodluck!, and have a fun time."
Ms. Waters and the others left the office. Chloe, Diane and I are left getting some documents.
"So the prince will finally come today!" Chloe said.
"and so is the queen!, Oh my gosh I'm going to finally see her! Are you excited Cassey?" asked Diane.
"Yeah! of course!" I said.
"You're not used to this royalty brigade aren't you?" said Chloe.
"No actually, we dont have that in our country." I said.
"Well its pretty much like this. A horn blows and the car will arrive. Usually Queen Ally and Prince Louie ride in different cars, especially when the king is with them. So, the first car is for the guards, then the prince, then the queen, and then more guards." Diane explained.
"The queen talks very calmly and she's always smiling so dont worry about her. She's nice. I've actually talked to her before, during thanksgiving, they invited our family." Chloe said.
"Papai also told me a lot of stories about the royal family. He said everytime they invite the farm owners for the awards night, they never fail to thank everyone, and when he said everyone he means every farm owner! They know them by name! I can't believe it" I said quite loudly.
When Papai told me about this story. I was totally shocked and that was the time when I admired the royal family of Pelipia. They seem so down to earth, and so caring about their people. Its not normal for the royals to act like that, from what I've heard from royals in other countries, anyway.
Ive never been so proud of Pelipia. Having great coffee and a great ruler? Could I not ask for more? I love my country!, well, my mother's home country.
I have been thinking of how proud I am to have a Pelipian blood when...
"Wait! Isn't your grandfather Lord Victor?" said Diane.
"Uhm Lord Victor?" I asked confused.
"Yeah. Aren't you from Clemens?" asked Diane.
"Yeah, I am. But papai is not a lord." I said
"Aren't your family the one who owns the farmland that sells the famous Pelipian caramel coffee bean?" asked Chloe
"Yeah, we are. But you might have mistaken him with another. He's not a part of any nobility." I said.
"Im pretty sure he is. As far as I know he is the Earl of Clemens. Your grandmother is Lady Mindy right?" Diane said.
"Uh...." Im at lost of words. I never knew and even suspected that papai and mamu are noble!!!!!! I just know that they are respected at our town because of their contribution to the production of coffee.
