I wonder how they prepare for a ball. But on second thought, I don't want to know.

After breakfast, mamu prepared a nice hot bath, and then there's goes the party, for her anyway.

"Give this to me honey, its been a long time since I've done this." She said.

"I'm all yours mamu." I said with a smile, though I'm a bit nervous as to what mamu will do to me. She can be very persuasive sometimes.

The party will start half past 3, it would take us half an hour to arrive at the palace.

Mamu started setting my hair, she scrubbed my body and did something on my face so I would look fresh all day, she said.

Mamu is an expert in this. She looks so happy, and I find myself happy too as I see her move around.

I love playing dress up and all this girly stuffs but sometimes it just becomes tiring. I love wearing girly-girl clothes but I never have patience when it comes to make up and hair, I wouldn't last long doing it.

My hair has never been like this, it looks gorgeous! Mamu curled it in big waves and pinned each side by my ear. She put some ornate pin with swarovski, its intricate yet simple.

She put on some light make up that made my puffy eyes from last night disappear. I look good, exteremely good! I hugged mamu tight.

"Oh darling, you look gorgeous!" There were tears on the side of mamu's eyes. She hugged me once again. "We have to put your dress now, you don't want to be late for your first party as Lady Cassey."

She went back to the room carrying the bags we bought yesterday. Raising it up and smiling like a child. I love seeing mamu like this, carefree.

When I opened the bag, I panicked. This is not the dress we bought yesterday...THIS IS NOT THE DRESS, AND WE ONLY HAVE AN HOUR BEFORE THE PARTY STARTS! Oh! What to do.. what to do.. I looked at mamu and she looks calm and even smiling.

I scrunched my face in confusion.

"I changed the dress." Mamu said, finally. "Laura, the owner of the store came in and offered me her new designs. This dress caught my eye so I exchanged the dress we first picked.Try it now, I'll be back in a few minutes, I'll just get a belt for that."

I pulled the dress from the bag, its beautiful. Simple yet breathtaking. It has a lace New York pink colored top with flower details and a soft black tulle skirt, it is paired with a peep toe silver heels and a clip on flowery headband.

I've never felt confident about the way I look, I can't way for mamu to see it so I went to their room.

"Mamu? I'm done."

"Mamu? Mamu? Where are you?"

I went out and heard some voices from the foyer so I went down the stairs.

"Oh darling you look so beautiful." Mamu said clasping her hand. It feels like prom all over again.

Papai appeared next on the foyer and Calix. Calix? What is he doing here?

"You look like your mamu when I picked her up for a ball one time" Papai said, looking at mamu and leaning his head over hers.

"You look great Cassey." Calix said. He looks great too, wearing a white polo and wine vest.

"Thank you!" I said, blushing. I've never been complimented before, it feels nice.

"Calix here dropped by to see if you need a ride. He's going to the party too." Papai said.

"That's great! I was quite worried about not knowing anyone there. I'll just get my bag Calix."

"Darling put this belt on." The belt is a black swarovski belt, the perfect accessory. I love anything that shines.
