Chapter 12

"Alive?.. Steve please talk! Will you or not!?" I asked after four hours of silence.
Steve didn't speak a word since we got into the flight. He was really connected to his parents unlike me. He constantly stared out of the window as if there was a naked woman dancing on the wing.
"I'm gonna miss them!" He said avoiding eye contact. The usual Steve.
"You are just on a vacation Steve! you will go home like a happy penguin!" I said eating my Choco-chips.
"Penguin?.. From which angle sweetheart?" He asked. Thank goodness he smiled.
"You walk like one.!" I laughed and he smiled looking at me. He started this staring thing recently.
We ate like a lots of food, that's was the only way I could distract him from his never ending sorrow.
He slept a little later after sharing some of his funny incidents with Stace.. My poor penguin!

"BRANNY!!" I yelled drawing almost everyone's attention towards us.
"I missed you so much!" He hugged me tight. It felt good and warm.
"I missed you too Branny!" I said after he released me.
"Hey Brandon!" Steve said and pulled Brandon into a hug.
"Hello Bro!!" Brandon smiled.
"I thought I should introduce you to him!" I exclaimed looking at Steve.
"Unlike you I never forgot him, we were in constant touch over the years.!" Brandon said..that perfect pacific gull!
"Where's Alex?" I asked just so that I can skip 'my sick phase' 'how-are-you-now? topic'.
"She's out.. She went for a pedicure.!" He said blushing. My huge brother is in love!!
Girls do change after they get into a relationship. Earlier she never stepped into a parlour and look at her now!

I remained silent on the way, I was just trying to figure out what to say if Sky opens the door.? Should I say a 'hello' and get in? What if he hugs me? What if he is with Miranda?

"Brandon? Is Sky home?" Steve asked. Just like every other time he managed to utter what I was thinking? HOW?

"Umm.. He will come by noon !" He said hesitantly.
"A..and w..when will he l..leave?" I managed to utter. I don't want to go back to first phase all over again. Please!!

"Blaze! I'm planning to ask him to leave! So don't worry!" Brandon said and Steve replied before I could even talk.

I wasn't late, he was fast!

"Brandon! Let him be there,she has to face it..whatever that might lead to!!" Steve said and I widened my eyes..that anxious ass!
"But Steve what if she can't manage!"
"We can always help her out Brandon!" Steve commented.
"Do I have a say in this?" I asked.
"Nope!" Both of them said in unison. Great.. Now I have two idiots in my life.

Brandon opened the lock, Steve carried the luggage into the house while I walked in like a princess. I must say,they are not complete idiots!

"I'll have to sleep for sometime!" I said throwing myself into the couch.
"I thought we will go out or something!" Brandon said and I immediately got up from the couch ready for the ride.

"Steve?" I said and looked at the beanbag. Steve dozed off.
"Can we go in the evening? He must be missing his family so bad!" I said removing Steve's shoes, Brandon smiled widely and left. What was that smile supposed to mean?

I shuffled through all the channels and settled with F.R.I.E.N.D.S. I laughed like a maniac while Steve didn't move ,not even once. If he love someone he loves them completely and I love that about him!

The bell kept ringing and Brandon sat as if he couldn't hear it. I made no move and stared at him.
"Brandon! I can hear something!" I said.
"Really? From where?" He said looking under the couch and into the packet of chips..that irresponsible iguana!

"GOD!!" I dragged and moved to the door.
"ALEX!" "BLAZEY!" We both exclaimed and hugged.
"I missed you so much!" She hugged again.
"How are you now?" "You feeling any better?" She exclaimed.
"I'm fine Al! And it's because of Steve!" I said.
"Yeah! Brandon told!" She said and hugged me again.
"It's been only six hours and you are already stealing my girlfriend!" Brandon complained.
"Aww..my baby!" Alex started kissing him.
"Okay! Please I feel Joey in that TV show" I said hiding my face with Alex's bag and they didn't care. Why would they?
"I love you!" Brandon said and Alex blushed.
