Unedited..... As usual. Don't be a quiet reader! Cote!
It was morning by the time everything was done. Luckily, it was a Sunday and we were already at our brand, new home.
We had zero sleep last night, considering the amount of shifting we did. So, finally at around four in the morning, we finished everything and crashed at our new place.
Since it was late, Alana was with us. But Sean left, saying that he can't stay the night. Ass. He was probably just freaking out about staying at a house with only girls.
So, by the time, I peeked open my drowsy eyes, the first thing I saw wasn't really impressive. It was Alana's dead sleeping figure right next to my face. Obviously, I didn't understand that it was her. With hair like cavewoman and slight drool off the chin, nobody would believe that she was my bestie. Including, me of course. So just like all others, my first instinct was to scream. Since my mouth was feeling like the Sahara desert, it wasn't much of a scream. So I went with my second instinct, kick her off my bed.
Once she landed on her ass on the ground with a thump, I realized for my own good that I just kicked my bestie out of my bed.
Yes, after kicking, I realized that.
Excuse me, you try functioning properly after getting two hours of sleep.
'What the hell woman!' I heard a scream from below. Apparently, someone's mouth wasn't as dry as the Sahara.
'Shit!' I muttered as I tried to move towards the edge of the bed, on the side she feel off. Crawling with your legs tangled on the bedsheets weren't easy.
'You ok-'
Sorry, couldn't finish what I was asking. Because this was the time, Alana changed into ninja mode.
Yeah, there was a one-twenty pound of chocolate cake sack sitting on my stomach. Not a good feeling. Especially when you come to know that it's actually not chocolate cake. Chocolate cake was what the person was made of.
She was straddling me, and pushing me hands, then I began swatting hers. Until it began the ultimate game of swatting.
'Why the hell did you kick me, off, you oaf?!'
Did she just call me an oaf?
'No, cagna! I thought you were the cookie monster!' I swatted her hand away.
Finally, she rolled off me and landed next to me on my bed. We were out of breath and panting heavily after that morning exercise of swatting.
'You know, we shouldn't have a catfight this often in the morning. I'm dead tired now.' Alana said, exhausted.
'I agree.'
Morning in the kitchen was a bigger mess. There was no way we could actually unpack stuff and start cooking. So my mom did the most liable and apt thing, buy donuts. Don't ask me when she went and bought them, but our breakfast consisted of Krispy Kreme, Oreos and milk.
Not that I'm complaining. Not in the least.
'Hey girls, how was sleep?' mom asked once we both walked in. we didn't even brush our teeth or comb our hair. Yup. We both entered just the way we were. I couldn't find my hairbrush or toothbrush or any brush.
And that woman on my bestie used both my toothbrush and hairbrush. Gross. I know. Let's just say that I didn't use my toothbrush later onwards.
'Sleep?' I asked scoffing. 'It was more like a morning nap.'
