-------
The car stopped right in front of my home. We stayed quiet for a while. No one spoke. After a while, I turned around to Emily.
'You kay, Em?'
She just nodded.
I turned back to the front again. I felt Nile looking at me.
'Em, why don't you go inside, I need some time.' I finally told, looking ahead and not meeting anyone's eyes.
I heard the door open, then shut. Emily bent next to my window.
'Take your time. I'll cover for you.'
I nodded. 'Thanks Em.'
She walked back to the front porch and into the house.
'So, what do you wanna do now?' Nile asked.
'Honestly, I want to punch something.' I said at last, looking him straight in the eye.
He stared at me and without missing a beat, nodded.
'Hold on.'
He started the car.
-----
'Why are we at your place again? If you didn't get it yet, I don't want to be around people.' I said.
He opened the door and got out.
This time, luckily we weren't parked in a weird place like the last time. Luckily, it was the backside of his massive home.
The car was parked in a small trail filled with dried leaves, sorta, like a forest, with trees and plants all around, but it was near his home.
I opened the door and got out a minute later.
'C'mon.' he said and started walking forward.
I followed him until we came to the glass doors of his home. He opened them and I walked inside. It was dimly lit and it was sorta like an indoor gallery.
I didn't get time to look around. Mr I'm-in a hurry, was walking way to fast somewhere.
I followed him till the stairs. 'Were are the others?'
'Work.' He said as we reached the landing.
It was the way to his room. I followed him into his familiar huge room.
Finally he turned around to face me. 'Do you still want to punch something?'
I nodded. He turned around and went to his huge walk in closet and disappeared from my view.
'What are you doing?' I called out to him.
'Be right back.'
I sat on the edge of his bed and looked around. He had a balcony with big glass doors at the end of the room and I could see the trees and even the lake from up here.
