Okay, so honestly, I'm pretty disappointed in myself too..... This is probably the longest that I haven't uploaded in... its been 20 days......

Reasons are:-

1. School stuff

2.Writer's block, which is a bitch

3. School Stuff

4. Look at all of the above...

So,  here it is.....

Audition day.

Ashley POV

To say that I was going to pee my pants any second would be an understatement.

The big day was here. And honestly, I don't even know why I am this scared for an audition.

It's just an audition.

'Ready?' Nile asked.

We were seated in his car. The Volvo again, which was parked just outside the dance center where the auditions where held.

So here I am in a stupid dress, with the confidence of eating half a banana in the morning. Sometimes, I make no sense.

I don't even understand why I am wearing a dress. Apparently, to Nile, if we do the auditions like it's the real competition, it's a bonus or some crap like that. That jerk. He's not the one wearing a mid-thigh red piece of fabric. And he gets to be in his stupid pants and a vest.

God knows how the hell we match.

'I was born ready.' I murmur and open the door. I walk out and slam it shut and see Nile on the other side of the car.

Al, Emily and Sean where already inside, waiting for us; apparently, for moral support. As if my anxiousness was not enough. And to top it all off, Sean was recording this for Mom.

Nile and I walk inside the building. I knew I made a mistake as soon as I enter.

There were people everywhere. Girls, guys, couples, all ready and geared up for their auditions, with numbered tags around their necks.

There was also a huge TV on the wall, which was showing the current performance that was going on inside.

Perfect.

I look around and see many girls glance up at Nile and then at me, next to him. Some of them smirked. Some ignored. Who the hell cares?

'I guess we gotta register.' Nile said.

I nodded and we both walked towards the long table in the middle of the room, where there were a lot of attendants, registering the participants.

Nile was filling in the forms for both of us while I looked around for Al and the others.

I didn't find them anywhere.

'Here, since you guys are already participating from your respective schools, you are already given the numbers. So, you guys are both seventy-five, just after four more performances.' Said the attendant smiling at us warmly and giving us the tags.

Wow. We get to perform in minutes. Joy.

Nile smiled at her and we collected our tags and began to walk inside. Since we can watch from inside too, we decided to sit there and wait.

The auditorium was dimly lit and already some performance was going on. Too scared to even look in the stage direction, I searched for seats to sit on.
